Chapter 5

Pain is a powerful thing. It can make you flinch and shirk from carrying
out your planned action-- as a deterrent. Or... it can be used to drive
you-- as a motivator.

The Lord of Strife has seen me gifted with the power to shrug off pain
that would normally deter others-- you know, like a brain-starved zombie.

OR...

To embrace the pain and ride it into battle like a wild boar with a
porcupine quill up his rear-end!

That's not the extent of it, of course... I've also been gifted the
ability to cause a great deal of pain, calling on every nerve of the
body. Perhaps it will be enough to jar some sense into these blind
bastards.

I'll test their pain tolerance, that's for sure... Maybe some of them
will go home and reflect on themselves and if their servitude is really
worth all the terrible, nerve-raking pain. Personally, though, I foresee
many profane oafs to end up in writhing, spastic, seizing, piles of their
own blood and excrament!

Chapter 4

The Lord of Strife has so graciously blessed me by infusing me with the
power of the demons. With this, I believe I'll finally find reprieve from
Kral'Antranin-- and if it comes to blows, I have no doubt I'd destroy it
now.

It had crossed my mind that this bond with the demons would in some way
attempt to pollute my mind and alter my will, but... No. They seem to be
more than pleased to accompany me and go on to encourage my darkest, most
inner desires.

I foresee us stirring things up quite a bit.

Chapter 3

The demons of my past (both literal and metaphoric) caught up with me
today...

It was made even more obvious that I would have to seek out a worthy deity to
lend me more POWER (not to be confused with strength) to maintain.

... Which lead to my first meeting with the Savage God of the Para-Elements,
Lord Jormyr.

He seemed unimpressed by me, so far. He said that I "prattle" ...
"Prattle" is a pretty intricate word for a frost giant, now that I think
about it, but I guess it makes sense due to all the limitless years he has
had to accumulate wisdom due to his immortality, and... and... Eh, whatever.

Anyway...

I made it clear to him that I was guided by my own desires and nobody
else's, but he wanted to dig deeper and see what this all could possibly
offer him in return for his power.

All those years spent in the sands has truly muddled my mind. My thoughts
creep in and out and I'm only quick enough to grab on to some. Hmm. I
suppose this is why I've been so reactionary up until this point. I never
considered my long-term goals, but instead, find myself caught up in
dispatching those that prove to be an immediate threat in preventing me from
fulfilling my desires in that moment.

As I thought more deeply on this meeting, it was made all too clear what I
must do: I will see about showing Thera the Truth.

I will peel back the layers of morals that they bury their true selves under
due to the constant fear of what they will find. I will show them that we are
all the same, selfish bastards at the core and they are merely blinded by the
smoke of illusion.

Seeing as War and Destruction are the two greatest catalysts for change, they
will, of course, be my primary tools

Just as the para-elements gain power from being combined, I will add a little
flame to these rocks and see what comes of them. They may be incinerated, or
perhaps they will become something better for it by realizing the primal
desires that they have resisted for so long.

Chapter 2

Darkness settles over the desert and cold winds sting those unfortunate
enough to be exposed to them.

Two dark-elven women attempt to rest in the sands... One clings to the other
for warmth and comfort while the other lay still, staring at the sky in
thought, completely unattached.

The sun begins to rise and so continues their trek through the sands, looking
for any sign of growth.

Something seems different about the desert, here... A low rumble is heard
closeby.

Not knowing if it was another hallucination brought on by the desert or if it
was a way out, the two continue. Any change from the bleak landscape was a
welcome one, despite what may lie in wait.

The two of them would find themselves face to face with the horrific Sand
Demon, Kral'Antranin.

Without a second thought, one of the drow shoves the other toward the
grotesque demon-- who immediately approaches her with a grin and devours
her promptly in the savage, gruesome fashion that you would expect of a
terrible sand demon.

It was with this action that Zixtarra struck a bargain.

She would stalk the desert for years to come, luring lost travelers to
Kral'Antranin for him to feast. In return, she would gather their supplies to
sustain herself.

This would continue for years, until the red cliffs beckoned her from the
sands and presented her an entirely new world to explore and act on her
desires.

Some would believe that they are driven by love of something or someone, but
Zixtarra knows deep down that she is driven only by lust and urges, both of
which she holds above much else.

Role

Chapter 1

Five drow soldiers tear down the narrow streets, halting briefly before one
of the houses.

They pause for a moment to observe the sounds coming from within-- the
muffled sound of moaning reaches their ears.

With a nod of the head, the guards charge the door.

Two naked, dark-elven women lie in bed, entwined around one another
intimately.

These were clearly not the moans of pain, but that of ecstasy.

Without any words exchanged, the men rip the two women from one another and
bind them in chain.

... Those of age and of a worthy bloodline that do not chose to mate are not
well received in dark-elven society. Zixtarra's constant urge to satisfy her
cravings of the female flesh and refusal to mate would ultimately lead to her
banishment ...

It did not take a very imaginative person to name this desert... The Sands of
Sorrow is a dismal place.

Two women outfitted in rags and with a single canteen-- this punishment was
much more than banishment, but more of a slow, painful, death sentence.

They would become an example of what would happen to those that defy
tradition.

The two had never been exposed to sunlight during their years growing up in
the Underdark... now they would be doomed by it.
