Chapter 7

The day came when the mantle of the Elder Prophet was bestowed upon Liffy
bye Lord Aveerlain himself. In shock all the small elf could do was kneel
before his Lord. Knowing his life soon comes to a end all he can think is
why me Lord. To why am I bestowed such a great mantle before Cardinal or Keara..
All the Lord said was shine on my Beacon it is time for a New Dawn. Adjustment
to the thought itself leaves the small elf speechless.

As soon as he came the great Lord vanished and Liffy was left with
very little time to preform a miricle. He begins working with the cardinal
on writing a note to bring in new receuits. To much to their suprise many
have answered the call. Althought the army grows Liffy feels his life

slowely coming to a end. The banshee screams at each wailing death. He asked
his good Lord for a chance to lige longsr to help his friends. Hopefully
he will meet the Pheonix Lady Deaer speaked of once long ago. Although
The letter did well the Prophet wants
more he feels a lack of celebration for the Light itself. Carefully workomg
with the High Herald and Cardinal A plan is aet for the Night of the Light.

Perhaps one of Liffiea great deeds will be a celebration of
all. With the Banshee wcreaming he hopes many have
been helped by his hands. May Lord Avderlain bless
our humble traveler with a death of a
old elf. He is one of the oldest they say of the Fortress now.

Chapter 6

Time ticks on and the seasons change. Over the many
years I find myself becoming old and soon to fall my last
Death. But its ok because I am very proud and
have led the most humble life any could ask
for. I know I will see my parents soon.

I also hope Lord Avderlain knows I gave it my all
and tried to do the best with what I had, I am
very impressed with what the fortress has
become. I can no longer call them kinds. Many of
if not all my original friends have fallen as well. I
know I will see them again soon and m parents.

Ii will continue on trying to fo my best to help
all those I can though. I fant let old age get me down
or lost friends we made it this far. I hope
I befame the Beacon the Lord Wanted. Perhaps I
will never know for he has seemed to vanish,

Chapter 5

Although not attaining Cardinal I am not letting that detour
me from my Lords request to be a Beacon. I am glad that by his
guiding hand many have seen his mercy. Over the years we
have developed a strong army. Bertrame always tries to help others
too I believe we make a good team.

I hope my parents and Lord -Avderlain- are proud of me. I always
try to think to myself what would I do if I was him. It has
gifted me with such a pretty life. I hope to continue to help
my fellows of the Light realize their inner flame. I believe that
only by working together can we do the biggest good. Each
person withon has so many hidden talents and Light. Ive
come to see that i have much work to still do though. The
Empire has grown much bigger and stronger. I believe they are war
hungry and it makes me sad for their soul.

I have thought on the concept of Mercy as well. I believe
that by treating people with respect and dignity it can cure a
lot of the problems in Thera. They are not born wicked it is taught.
By showing them kindness and Mercy it changes people. It brightens
there life. For perhaps they are not use to it. A lot can be
accomplshed by showing a person a open palm.

Chapter 4

There was many years sense I met Lord Avderlain. I often wondered if I made him proud or understood his relegion completely.
Then the day came when he suprised me with his Holy Tattoo. It was the coolest thing ever! Or so I thought.
After being named a full priest he allowed me to become a Acolyte. My dream has came true.
I asked him what more I can do and he replied "Continue to be a Beacon."

With the passing of the Cardinal I set out to become the next. I wish to help bring more Light into the Fortress.
I wish to heal all those I can and help spread the teaching that I have learned. Perhaps whom ever they choose though will be fine.
I am in deep research on the Cardinals before me.


A cardinal must be strong in faith.. Unshakable. He must be a leader and must be kind to all he meets. He must be Light itself.
He must lead the young Maran and Acolytes in there defenses as well as Offensive prayers.
He must stand strong when faced against odds and must be humble to all those seeking refuge.
He must be deidicated and s art s arrt in all the relegions.
He must be humble and graceous. Always willing to learn from others as well as teach.

Chapter 3

It takes a lot to be a good Acolyte for many years I wonder and try my best.
I believe a true Acolyte to inspire all those he or she walks with. Patient ant kind a Acolyte must teach as well as be taught.
One must be adept at all the relegions they can. One must know the way to talk to a priest. Also they must guidi and aid the young Maran.

One must be adept at defending the Fortress as well for sometimes the last stand is that of a shield. I have also found another way to heal a person. By being there and Listening and helping one who is struggling
can often raise ones moral and eventually drive the despair out of ones spirit. Darkness is
very ruthless and will try to strike at you when its most convienant.
Being a beacon of Light a true Acolyte is something I aspire to be. It has been a long time sense I have seen Lord Avderlain but his words still ring in my head.
Have fun and inspire, take the Light to the greatest of darkness in Thera. Sense our last meeting I have tried to do such that.

I have also spent many years with the Elder Prophet he is impressed with me so far.
He firmly believe one day I will become a Acolyte. He has inspired me to be better. No matter what though I am just happy to help. I enjoy seeing those I help smile. Its nice to provide some with peace z. It is something not seen often in Thera.

Chapter 2

Dear Journal,
Upon leaving the guild I traveled across Thera searching for the Dawn's Light. Finding it was a glorious thing. The feeling of happiness overcame me as I entered the Shrine. For days I sat waiting praying and the then the Lord Spoke.
For what seemed like days we discussed the glories of the Light and the wickedness in Thera. i wished to help this Lord expell some of this darkness.
I knew to myself that in all this despair there is a huge sliger of life within us all. Perhaps te best way to help in this world is to aid others souls in the fight. Redemption is a long road to take alone.. Within the talks he blessed me to co
ntinue my travels. As fast as the moment came the Lord vanished. I rolled up my sleeves and pushed into the darkness.

I found much good within this world. Even my worst enemies show a sliver of hope. I will never give up on them. Within my travels I did manage to join the Fortress as a scribe. Many good persons dwell within.
I often tell myself surrounding myself in such good prescense will help me overall. I have also seen much life within as well. I am a scribe now!
The role of a scribe seems to fit with my personality.
I really enjoy helping them spread the Light across the land. They heal in this world.

Chapter 1

Born pure of heart I was once untill that day I seen my parents slain in Darsylon by a horde of orcs. As they died though I admired how they seemed at peace.
They sang and blessed the orcs hearts as they fell to iron blades. A young elven adventurer Aikli took my by my arm and we fled to Voralian City.
Asking for rooms the kind healers took us in from the cold. They noticed we had seen a lot been through probably more.

Soon I found myself succumbed to a nasty cold. Nights turned into day and day into night by the third day hullucinations. I began seeing my parents hovering over me praying asking for forgivness. To be mercifull they where gone. Indeed they made
it to heaven what was good for them. They asked me to help all those poor and deserving to cherish life for what it is. A miraculas thing .
Soon as they began the hullucinations faded and healers were over me muttering prayers a interesting feeling overcame me.

As they uttered Avderlian I foundmyself at peace glowing healing. What seem like days passed and I awoke feeling refreshed rejuvinated. I must figure this feeling out I decided .
Upon asking to join the guild they greatly acceptd. I found the many days helping out the sick and needy to be fun.
It was great to see people cherish the life and feel the peace. As I gre older though I knew there would be a time to broaden from the church.
Soon I began wondering outside the city. The name Avderlian always in my mind. I wish to help all those I can. I wish to show others mercy and peace within there souls as the healers did to me.

And so thus journal with the healers blessing I start my adventure seeking out my Lord. And helping all those I can. May everyone see sun.
