Reegun Du'Vains the Hellish Fury of the Design, Anathema to the Empire

Chapter 6

Reegun had the empire dominating the lands in true Imperial
fashion. As the war progressed the current War Master Xeneth had
become careless in his action. Xeneth was not appointed by Reegun so
she never really trusted him. She knew he couldn't have voted for her
when the vote was cast and she always held that in the back of her mind.
Xeneth was careless enough to strike at a duergar within the city of
Hamsash one day. Reegun seen this as her chance to show all the
citizen she would not be trifled with. She cast down the War Master
and ordered him to serve as a blade until he could sharpen his ability
and his awareness. Reegun also placed a High Priestess on the Council
, one she believed would serve the Design well. Everything was unfolding
as the design was forever in motion. She spoke with Lord Destuvius
and brought him a gift. He was kind enough to offer her some advice on
her new position in the design, she was honored by such an offer.
She attempted to strike a deal with the Lord for a one of a kind weapon.
A weapon worthy of a true Empress, something to assist her in her conquering
of the lands. She also made plans to venture to the Inferno to
complete what the Juggernaut failed to do. Reegun would succeed
in the task others failed to complete.

Chapter 5

Time had passed as Reegun held her place within the design
awaiting the moment she could progress onward. After the
Juggernauts death Daphrdan was voted to the Throne, though her
reign was short lived. Upon her passing she was gifted with
the dying wish of placing one of the council to the Throne.
Reegun was chosen by Daphrdan for all those who knew Reegun
knew she would bring the Design and the Civilization to glory.
Reegun took the Throne and began to go to work building the army.
Citizens began to emerge from no where as they flocked towards
the greatness of the Design. Reegun soon appointed a Shadow Lord
and completed her council. Things where starting to turn around
for the Empire as the design remained forever in motion.

Chapter 4

Reegun had came a long way in the Imperial echelons and her Lords.
A slew of corpses lay in her past, those who stood in the way
of the design and the empire. She watched as an attempt was
made to overthrow the Emperor, fools she thought to herself.
There where Anathemas and demotions all around when the idiots
failed to unseat the Juggernaut. Some had clawed back up the ladder,
others became lifeless corpses at the feet of Reegan and the Emperor.
Reegun was praised by Lord Destuvius and even earned his mark.
She had been succeeding where so many others had failed him.
A perfect example of the design in motion, feared by those
who hope to stop the order the design shall bring. She would
attempt to continue in her success in the name of the Design.

Chapter 3

Reegun continued to ease up the imperial ladder ensuring
not to cause any ripples along that way that could draw
attention. She had spent time writing a work for Lord
Destuvius to place within his library. It explained on her
thoughts and actions and her intent to teach the ways of the
design to others. She had seemingly pleased Lord Destuvius
with several of her fierce battles against the enemies of
the design. This meant she was truly taking her place within
the design, pleasing to her it was. Reegun began to have
strange realistic dreams of devils and hell hounds and mephits.
One night a greater ice devil appeared to her and told her
that she must make a pact with hell itself and draw the essence
of hell itself upon the enemies of the design. That was the only
way she would succeed in destroying the chaos attempting to
hinder the design's growth. Suddenly she woke in a cold sweat
clutching at a small burn on her hand where she dreamed
the devil had been touching it. It was clear a pact must
be made.

Chapter 2

Reegun had built up her donations nicely by any standards filling
the coffers. It was now time for her to seek out Destuvius and speak
with him of order, the empire, the reasoning behind things that are
and things that will come. She must also continue her training
while preaching the word of Destuvius. She would not stop until all
who where inferior dropped their head on bent knee. Slaves at
soldiers if wise, destroyed if unwilling. She would climb the
ranks of both guild and empire to prove herself and take her
spot upon the Throne as was set in motion long ago by her family.

Chapter 1

Reegun was born in Hamsah Mu'Tazz to the wealthiest family in the
city, perhaps the lands. It was rumored that Reegun's father was once
visited by the Sultan, no one really knows what they spoke of.
Though shortly after that the sultan was able to build an addition
on to his Palace. The Du'Vains where said to have owned most everything in
Hamsah and surrounding it. Reegun's father also had deep ties into
the Empire and its Lord Destuvius. Some even say that he provided
them with the land when the new Palace was built, and often
consulted in times of war. Reegun grew up with the belief that Destuvius
had a plan for her as he did everyone, a grand design which was set
into motion for her upon her birth. She was raised to believe that
without order Thera would spiral into a rift of chaos. As a young
girl she would travel across their properties with her Father
as they visited those who where blessed with inhabiting them.
She was guiding to the Empire by her father who told her Destuvius
had a place for her in the grand design. She took quickly to the
teachings of a war priest and begin to excel within the guild.
By the age of sixteen and holding the third rank within her guild
she had spoke with the Emperor. Seemingly unwilling to accept
Reegun's path to come he blew her off. Then after a moment to absorb
the knowledge she has bestowed upon him he granted her the bloodoath.
