Dwunot the Self-Proclaimed King of Silverwood, Cold-Hearted Gnome Murderer
DescriptionA smallish goblin with pale brown skin is before you. A pair of light copper eyes dart about his surroundings from beneath a tangle of unkempt matted black hair. He appears to have a slight hunch in his posture, while his faint muscles seem to be constantly tense. A pair of prominent yellowed fangs are apparent in his often open mouth. Around his waist you see numerous pouches strung and knotted tightly. The last thing you notice are a pair of small ornamental copper earrings on each of his bat-like ears, each in the shape of a rather crude skull.

|
RoleChapter 1 Dwunot's meager fate Added Mon Oct 21 12:46:02 2013 at level 15:Dwunot was a simple goblin child, and like most other goblins, he remains so. If he holds any one singular thing of value, it's the lustrous shine of copper. He'd always coveted the coins, and anything else for that matter, made of the metal.
Possessed of only some minor ability, Dwunot has trained as a raider to further his singular goal, obtaining copper. As such, he intends to find any who can who may be possessed of the coins, and will sacrifice his own life if need be in hopes of obtaining it. The other orcs and goblins will find him easily distracted as his focus always goes towards the coins.
Dwunot was said to be stupid, even for a goblin, and though he may not believe it, he truly is. He has delusions of grandeur and truly believes that he will become a legendary bandit in the forests around Galadon. As such, he intends to spend most of his time there when he gets old enough, and to pray on any and all who enter.
Any who fall prey to him will likely find only their copper coins missing, and a foolish goblin sitting nearby complaining about the lack of more.
It is believed his life will be short, even by goblin standards, as he neglects his most of his skills and relies mostly on dirty tactics to achieve his ends.

|
RoleChapter 2 The King of Silverwood Added Fri Nov 15 14:08:54 2013 at level 40:Dwunot's life has been impressive, at least according to his own goblin standards. Against all odds, he had survived, and more surprising to him than that, he found people actively paying him coppers, either for jobs to be done, or as a matter of keeping him at bay. This newfound revelation that he is actually sucessful with minor extortion has led Dwunot to a few conclusions.
First among them, Dwunot has proclaimed himself to be the king of Silverwood for no other reason than he thinks he is one because people have given him coppers. Among the things he has done to prove his stature as a king: he has learned to write, and insists on writing things to people whenever any deal is struck with him. Also, he has taken a queen, a dark elf mage who'se name he could never pronounce correctly. He tries to lavish gifts upon her because he thinks that what kings do. Lastly, he makes an effort to only drink coffee, having been introduced to the beverage by a herald, he believes drinking coffee somehow makes him better than everyone else, as a king should be.
Dwunot's successful quest for copper has also led him to the notion that he will have to soon expand his prowling area so that he can take in more coppers to support the realm he governs. While he covets the coins for himself, he likes to pretend the coins are solely for the purpose of ruling his empire and keeping his queen happy.
Ultimately, Dwunot's demise will not be far off, as he grows increasingly disillusioned with his own sense of grandeur and importance. He has visions of one day overtaking all Thera, and remains completely unafraid of sacrificing his life against foes he could never hope to defeat in order to show his own greatness as a king.

RoleChapter 3 The King's Reign Added Mon Dec 9 08:50:27 2013 at level 40:To the casual observer, the Silverwood remained much the same as it ever had, in large part because it truly had not changed. However, in the nearby caves of the goblin village, sat a rather moronic goblin who would endlessly argue to the contrary. Dwunot, the greedy copper hunting goblin that thought himself king, would argue everything had changed, that he sat atop an empire unrivaled by any of Thera. He would of course be wrong, but Dwunot would not be one to let things like facts dissuade him from his view of the truth.
Dwunot, the magamacius ruler of Silvrwod (as he signed all his royal decrees for he was unable to say or spell magnanimous and often pronounced it in terrible fashion) viewed his empire as the strongest in Thera. As he sat in his cave, atop the corpses of the troll and orcs he was constantly eradicating from his village because they did not show him proper tribute, the goblin king wrote his list of those who served the kingdom, all who had been given official kingly decrees.
First among them was the Queen, Mirozah. Prettiest and bestest so it was said. Then there was Princess Gteg, who watched the village while he was away, and also served as the premier chef. Haustr was named High Captain, to guard the wood. Kepsen was the royal adviser (said advicer of course) to the king. A shadow named Skern was his enforcer, to kick people in the head for the king. Saersha was named second princess and court wizard, for her dazzling displays that so amazed the king. Wellew had been named the forest adviser, overseeing the welfare of the Silverwood, who'se suggestions Dwunot listened to without understanding any of. Utrisa, an arial who had volunteered to be a second enforcer of the kingdom, which the king would of course allow since it meant more coppers for him.
The King's subjects had grown in number indeed from his intial declaration. Many served no true purpose for him, but by accepting his decree he believed them to serve him, so went his dillusions. Ever with an eye for expanding his power, he still looked to add more to the royal roster of those that would serve the kingdom, and further prove his greatness to the world.
