Chapter 1

Cavani was raised within a clan of storm giants within the Aryth ocean. She
spent much of her childhood learning to forage help prepare growth among
her gathering. It was a rather simple life. But by chance something took
Cavani from her home.

A large slave boat caused much havoc that left many wounded and trapped
onboard. The slaves were make-weight in deals for goods from one Empire
to the next. The use of such slaves--still uncertain. Cavani will never
know as she never saw her kin again.

She, herself, was left as useless and deemed unfit. Thus left to wonder
the streets of Seantryn. In such a story many would assume she would
have been killed rather than left for dead on the street. BUt it was
not that way, this time. Simply left on the street to become a begger
and likely diminish into nothing but a street-rat.

Cavani spent days searching for her family while trying to understand the
settlement in which she wondered amongst. she found refuge at times
among the Clerics guild of Healers where she was offered warmth and
nourishment through various Healers attempting to make their rise in
fame amongst their peers.

Over time she took to scriptures to understand the world and its forces.
She later moved to Aturi to assist in their developments as she both
needed to make work to live and did not find comfort within such city.

Among the village she learned of further essences and came upon the
scriptures of the Harvest Goddess who was said to offer these
people great bounty in harvest should they live according the
balance of nature.

Cavani began to learn more of such diety having at one time desired
to become a healer. Though she did not find much affinity for the
task, perhaps by fate. It was thrugh vigerous study that she learned
of the Coven of Amaranthe and desired to learn more. There was a clerical
guild that seemed more in-tune with her. That of the wrathful vengance
of the Goddess.

She would set out to learn further of the Aspect of Death. To ward
off the darkness that tore apart unity.
