Kursh the Weaver of the Elements

Description

A short, roly-poly sort of man, approximately 3 feet tall. His close-cropped
dark hair emphasizes a curiously young looking, passionately expressive
face. Lines of strain and the odd white or pink hair in his beard appear
only as afterthoughts, after the first impression. Tucked about his
clothing are myriad oddities, some of which glow or sizzle.
He has a curious manner of regarding the world around him, as though
he were fiercely intent on something only he, himself, could perceive.
A second glance reveals deep, sunken shadows under his eyes, much like
those of an obsessed poet or fanatical painter.

Staring at the dagger that burst through chest, Kursh's happy go luck ways
faded as rage at Sivyh's betrayal took hold. His work to aid the imperial remnants as they struggled
completely unrecognized, Kursh fell before the Emperor's assassination attempt.

Knowledge, Kursh thought, was his purpose, but knowledge could not be clearly in focus
without the effort to remove obstacles. Knowledge's purpose was the joyful appreciation of what existed
and not the layers of contempt and deceit that characterized the Empire. His path clear, Kursh began preparations
