Wungar the Avenger of the Righteous

Description

Before you standing proudly is a dwarf in battered and blood-stained armor.
Only about four feet tall this thick limbed dwarf has a commanding presence.
His fierce blue eyes gaze out over a brown greasy beard. You notice the mark
of Udgaard on an exposed piece of his battle worn armor as well as another
mark that resembles a dwarf locked in combat with a duergar. You note that
the armor of the dwarf seems much older than him and does not fit properly
looking closer you notice a hole in the armor protecting the base of his neck
about the width of a daggers blade.

Today I met with the almighty Phaelim. We discussed issues of the light and
reason and he brought to my attention that perhaps I was letting emotion
cloud my judgement. Every day I fear sharing my fathers fate and that is
part of what drives me to strive for reason to never put myself in a
situation like he did. I have alienated myself from those of the gray in
fear of betrayal but perhaps I have let emotion cloud my judgement. True it
is possible that they may betray me but still it is not very likely with many
if not most of them. I will try to associate more with those of the gray but
still remain cautious about them. And those I know who have harmed the light
or are very likely to I will continue to treat as I have.

Wungar is on a quest to return purity to thera.Purity in the sense that all
will walk the light and prosper together. The way he seeks to do this is
first by the destruction of evil and second by the nurturing of the light and
lastly by setting an example for those of neutrality. The logical reasoning
behind his quest is that he desires to see thera as a Utopia where all live
and work together in harmony and brotherhood. He seeks the death of evil
firstly because he sees evil as a corrupting force that turns people from the
light. He believes that if evil no longer existed then those of neutrality
would have to make a decision to join the movement of the light or show their
true evil colors. To Wungar evil is anything with a red aura on it to be
simple.He believes they are evil because they live selfish lives seeking
only to sate their own personal desires at the cost of those around them. He
sees goodliness as the willingness to help your fellow man and live in
harmony without becoming greedy.
