Chapter 2

Nerplunkt has made a list of over thirty adventurers, and has guided
them to hear the music of the ancients, so they can be prepared to
hear the serenade of Tiamat. Sometimes with purpose, and others on
a whim, he takes adventurers to see the ancients and listen?A This is
non typical for Nerplunkt as he is often too busy drinking and playing
music to do much?A others call him lazy, but really he just doesn't care.
However, Whenever it relates to adventure, or worms, he gets quite
motivated.

Lately?A

Nerplunkt has kerplunkt. One day, minding his own business after
a particularly hairy adventure with his friends, ALMOST killing Tiamat
(really, she just ate them up an spit them out), he went back to the Bar
to rest up, make some music, and merry make with his pals. Two stupid
villagers walk into a bar (no this is not the start to some joke, although it
should be), a bard to 'handle' the bouncers, and a dwarf to crush
Nerplunkt's skull, Nerplunkt was attacked. He waved his little bat around
to no avail, and fled from the villagers. The bouncers didn't really care
much. Nerplunkt had been slain before at the Inn, and he was tired of
being hacked to bits. So he fought back, blasting one of them to pieces
instead, sending the other one packing. Nerplunkt was quite proud, he
even thought of being the new sheriff of the Inn!

The villagers whined about some rules, Nerplunkt didn't know about any
rules of the Inn, nobody ever told him about any rules! Nerplunkt never
even met a High Herald.. I mean there was one, but she never showed up.
Look who is lazy now! Nerplunkt also didn't know if you attacked enough
bouncers you get banned from the Inn?A If that was the case he would have
simply just ran around and let the villagers piss off all the bouncers.

On pissing off bouncers, Nerplunkt has been using a 'BOOM' to end his
musical numbers. He is sure to protect the patrons (at least the ones he
sees) from this effect. Nerplunkt knows the bar is FIREPROOF so
it is not set ablaze. What he didn't know is that this would piss off the
bouncers?A So when Boss Whiysdan booted Nerplunkt, he was essentially
booted from the Inn.

This sent Nerplunkt into a tailspin of self loathing and depression. He has
done what he could to make amends, and has been brought at least out
of the sewers, back to his music, and away from booze for a bit. He got
his anger out on the villagers as best he could, and has sought retribution
against the 'bouncers' of the village. He now tires of the stupidity of war
and wants to get back to merry making, music, and adventuring.

Without being able to be apart of the Inn, Nerplunkt sees little point to
putting in anymore time to his adventures, music, or merry making.

Role

Chapter 1

Nerplunkt Dribblefutz was born in Mountains near Hillcrest, and subsequently
left in the hills of Hillcrest. Massively deformed, he had a face even
a mother couldn't love. He is half the size of a normal gnome, rippled skin
and a nose like a parrots beak. By chance in the woods near the mountains
he was left to die, lived a sorcerer of the elements.

Living alone in a hut in the woods has it's advantages. One of which is not
hearing the shrieks of every child seeing his hideousness and every babe
that would weep as he approached, crying out, "DEAR GOD! What IS that
thing!" To which a small, shrill reply would come, "Nerplunkt Dribblefutz."

Nerplunkt does have a passion, however, for music. He has discovered with
his gigantic misshapen ears that each element produces a very specific sound,
to which he interprets as different types of music. Oh, how he loves a good
noxious cloud of gas, or a wondrous nova explosion. Let us not forget the
beautiful subtleness of a bolt of lightning as it explodes within the air.

Nerplunkt has little care for cabal politics, nor of alliances one way or another.
What he dreams of is adventure! Excitement! Challenge! Treasure! Most of
all, beautiful music. Nerplunkt seeks to find each of the ancient dragons, in
their most powerful states, and to hear each of their musical accompaniments
on their own, and then together with that bitch of a slayer, Tiamat. Oh, how
sweet the music will be.

Nerplunkt left his cabin in the woods for the wide world in order to seek out
adventure, lots of company which are imbibing copious amounts of alcohol,
a good tale and an even better adventure. He has heard of such a crew!
He seeks out the Captain Neltouda, and to be a member of her crew, traveling
the world and seeking out his adventure. Additionally he seeks to become a
member of the Herald Troupe, as their band is in need of musicians of his
talent whom seek to travel the world. What better way to lead them on such
adventures than one of Neltouda's merry crew!
