Uhgtohg Raazmik the Champion of Ancient Ways, Blood-Soaked Whoremonger

Description

A hideous beast appears before you, stretching nearly five feet tall on a
thick and well-muscled frame, he is quite tall for a duergar. Bits of blood,
bone and gore can be seen in the greasy black hair that hangs over his
gruesome visage. The right side of his face is nearly devoid of flesh.
Starting at the right edge of his mouth, up and halfway across his eye socket
and up to his hairline, there is nothing but bone a a few decayed pieces of
flesh. His ear hangs unnaturally from his skull, but appears to still be
attached. His eyes are black, and his right eye is glazed over, obviously
affected by whatever attack he survived. The right eye is surrounded half by
rotted ivory flesh, and half by bone. His black beard is thick and greasy.
It stretches down over his barrel chest and hangs near his waist. His broad
shoulders give way to thick arms and heavy hands. His mismatched armor and
weapons are kept in much the same manner as other trained killers you have
seen roaming Thera.

Chapter 1


Background
Added Fri Aug 10 09:51:14 2012 at level 9:

Uhgtohg was raised in a clan of duergar in uncharted and unexplored caves
under the eastern continent. The clan worshipped a deity called Vahagn
Vishabakagh. A fire god who in their mythology was a great dragon slayer.
Turns out, this deity is in fact Thror, which should lead to all the expected
shenanigans of a duergar following a dwarven god. He is very much a
stereotypical duergar, dirty, mean, evil, etc. He left the clan at a young
age and ended up in Arkham. There he fell in with the unsavory element and
made his way murdering and thieving. Around the age of 30, he was betrayed
by his closest "friend" who was a young human coming into his magical
talents. He admired Uhgtohg for his strength and ferocity and wanted him for
a zombie. He attempted to kill Uhgtohg using the power word kill, and it
went horribly wrong, although it left Uhgtohg scarred. It also left him
vengeful and disdainful of magic and mages. Barring an unexpected turn of
events, this should lead him towards the village. He is greedy and likes to
collect treasures, will sell out or kill pretty much anyone for the right
price. Loves whores, prefers rum over ale.
