Illademn the Grand Master of Changelings
DescriptionWith simple brown robes draped over his armor, this man nonetheless has a
somber, respectful air about him. A full head of hair, now colored a shining
platinum, crowns the top of his head just below the average human height.
Dark eyebrows arch over the emerald-blue eyes that sparkle with humor, charm,
and just a touch of pain. His frame is slender but somewhat soft, like one
born of long hours of study without much physical labor. Voluminous sleeves
swallow most of his arms, but the two hands that peek out are crooked and
disfigured. Stiff, almost rigid fingers, and far too few of them, grasp
weakly at the objects in his hands. The sharp, knowing gaze of Illademn's
eyes and runes on his armor suggest his talents lie outside the mundane
world, however.

Added Sat Jun 7 19:39:34 2003 at level 9:Born under the sign of Magic, Illademns mind found the mystical power that
daunted so many fairly easy to grasp. This was fortunate, for Illademn had a
hard time grasping anything else. Literally. Birth defects left his hands
undeveloped, with three good fingers on the right and two on the left. While
sufficient for holding a weapon or shield, the lack of true dexterity made
the finer points of fighting quite a challenge.
As could be imagined, Illademns disfigurement made him quite the target at
the only school in his small village. Though stoic, all the taunts and
sidelong glances weighed heavily on his shoulders. Not surprisingly, when
Illademn began to show a talent for channeling the mysterious energy called
magic, he studied the lessons on shapeshifting with the most fervor.
Perhaps, in the sleek, graceful form of an animal, he could escape his
troubles. Perhaps he could learn the joys of being nimble. Perhaps in Tar
Valon, near the White Tower, he could find his answers.
