Chapter 2

Quinlon is born to a cult worshipping a demon god and he is believed to one
day become a prophet. Unfortunatly as an infant the temple is destroyed and
he is adopted by his faiths destroyers and raised as their own.He never
really fits in and suffers from minor madness due to whispers he hears.
Please note there is a demon involved in his birth story but this is not an
I'm a half demon role. Its more of an I am metaphyslcally bound to the will
of a demonic god.

Role

Chapter 1

Before you circled around an altar several hooded figures chant in the
darkness of a new moon.The words filling the air spread a deep chill and
dark forboding.A pair of figures approach the altar and shed their robes
revealing a man and a woman. The woman lays upon the altar and is shackled
to the block by the man.

The chanting begins to increase in tempo and the man begins to cast a spell.
A swirling portal opens casting a sickly green light over the gathering. A
shadow darts from the portal and passes into the mans chest. His eyes begin
to glow with the same light as the portal and the chanting aprubtly comes to
a halt.With a wild howl of glee the man begins to fuck the chained woman on
the altar. He is a brutal lover and her screams fill the night for what
seems like an eternity.

Eventually the man finishes and rises from the bloodied half consious woman.
He levels the robed figures with a leer, takes a dagger to his own throat and
ends his life. As his body falls to the ground a shadow is seen retreating
into the portal and with a POP the portal is gone and the clearing is cast
once again into darkness.

Acrid smoke fills the air and chokes your lungs. You can hear the clash of
steel and dark chanting in the adjacent rooms amid the roar of the flames. A
group of warrios garbed in white with shining blades of silver are pressing
the attack against the dark priests of the temple as it burns. In a side
room one of the attackers wearing golden platemail happens upon a crib with a
crying baby. He senses the mark of evil and raises his blade to finish off
the toddler but at the last moment stops. Instead he bundles up the child
and takes it with him.

Several years have passed, the baby has grown into a young boy of maybe ten.
Children his age are running through the town playins as boys do but this boy
is always on his own. He is often found in the library pouring over books
and his adopted father is dissapointed in his anti-social behavior. At night
he often cries out in his sleep and complains that he is stalked by dark
whispers he can't understand but that fill him with dread.

A teenager now stands before a council waiting in judgement. He is dressed
in robes of white but there are several small flecks of blood dotting his
sleeves. A serene expression is plastered on his face while the three elders
whisper amongst themselves. After what seems like an eternity they reach a
conclusion and inform the teenager that he has until sundown to leave the
community. His adopted father stands in the corner and stares at his feet in
shame, the teenager seems unaffected by the decision.
