Disori Dal'Viensin the Dai Sensei of the Miyama Ryu

Description

Your turn your gaze to the figure before you. Standing just shy
of six feet in height. This drow has an elegant cape of the
finest silk draped accross his shoulders, pinned at the neck by a
shining diamond brooch. From the way he carries himself and the
obvious time and care he puts into his appearance a sense of vanity
exudes from him. Ebon skin with the sligest tint of blue stretches
firmly over a strong jawline and high cheek-bones then round gently
to the lobes of his pointed ears. White hair braided in large knots
frame his face. Eyes of a deep violet seem pulse every few moments,
glowing bright pink for the blink of an eye. His frame is slim yet
well muscled and tone obviously well versed in some sort of martial
training.

Joining the Guild

After a few years, the men that worked at the warehouse were either too broken
physically or mentally to continue their labor. Word of the harsh conditions spread
throughout the populace and it was neigh impossible to find good labor to replace
them. As a result my adopted fathers business began to turn less and less profit.
It was during this period he refused to buy an elegant diamond brooch. How dare
he treat me that way, he has the audacity to claim he loves me! I knew he had more
than enough golds coins spare to have bought me that brooch a thousand times over.

And so I left the very next day. My adopted father never to wake again for a slit throat
often has that unfortunate result. A large sack brimming with gold I set off into the
world. The first major city I stayed in was that of Galadon. During my first few days,
I visited many seedy establishments. The types where the sight of a drow does not merit
a second glance. It was within these places I had begun to hear stories of hired assassins
who made large fortunes for their deadly work.

The endless potential enticed me. A vast fortune and if perhaps I was became skilled
enough people would fear me. With fear and wealth, power was surely to follow.
The path my life was to take was laid before me.

The life of Disori Dal'Viensin

I've lived in Hamsah Mu'Tazz most of my life. How I came to be here, a drow
in this port city of the Sultan and desert nomads is one of greed. From what I've been
able to piece together my familys House heard word that a much stronger rival
intended war, a battle my family knew was lost from the start. In a strange act of
mercy, or perhaps hoping to plant a seed for future vengeance. The Matron of
my house through surface trade contacts and a few wagons filled with gold made
arrangements for my adoption by an affluent merchant of Hamsah.

A noble and very wealthy family they taught me the true value of coins in society.
Everyone and everything has a price tag so they said. It was this concept that led me
to purchase my first slave at the age of 38. He was such a small frail thing and did
not last very long under my cruel ownership. Yet, the feelings of pride and power I felt
literally owning someone's life and their service me and my every command was
was addictive. A few months later I demanded that my adopted father give me a job.
I was ruthless, heartless and hated. But the job got done and it got done well. I would
often threaten their lives if they dared to speak out against me. I ruled that warehouse
with an iron fist and loved every moment of it.

An Immortal added 400 exp for: Wanted a diamond necklace that the stepdad wouldn't buy him. Got pissed, killed the stepdad, and headed to Galadon. Heard of assassins paid to kill. Wants to do that now.
