Chapter 1

The screaming cries echo from the walls of the school of priestesses. Not
one, as normal, but two.. "Twins, but not what you hoped for..." were
whispered over the children disdainfully. "The Audrayven'ili house only needs
one female, I am sated..."

Years past as Ilktecetin and his sister grew, and every moment of it spiteful
anger welling up within his heart. He knew the operations of Teth Azeleth,
females were superior, and he saw it in his mothers' eyes. That favor of
having a daughter, the hope of her becoming great among the priestesses, and
knowing he would be forced to be nothing more than a warrior.. ready to die
for her.

It was then the desire to be a woman caressed his mind.. why should fate have
the power to deal him such cards? The Envy burned within him like hot coals,
coals unable to be extinguished, yet.. coals whose burning embers were hidden
to everyone but him.

Role

Chapter 2

Adolescence passed, and Ilktecetin rose to be one of the most promising of
upcoming blades. He enjoyed the order, the servitude. It fulfilled a void in
him, a void wanting to please.. to succeed, to gain the eye of a man in a
positive way.

The War Master soon caught on, and began allowing Ilktecetin to please him in
ways forsaken. Yet, it only made Ilktecetins' life harder. Held to a standard
higher than the rest, the pain of failure never tarried upon his face.. the
welts of war. It was a phrase the became meaningful to him, in emotion.. and
the physical.

His sister soon rose to control the House of Priestesses'. It was then,
betrayal overcame him. He had no care for these creatures of the underdark,
and with each whisper within the shadows... the fables and stories of things
that happened upon the surface became that much more enticing.

Taking nothing but his spear and dagger, he left Teth Azeleth as the drow
took to rest... making sure to enjoy every inch of adamantite that pierced
into his sisters heart on his way out.

"I will find a place to make my own life, servitude.. darkness.. order..
there will be a place that embraces what I possess. Regardless of what I
might be on the inside.. they just.. don't have to know."
