Chapter 10

The descision came gradually. If he truly was a demon, he better start acting
like one. He reasoned that if he couldnt take his own life, as a true
villager would have done, it must be a part of him that wants the demons to
succeed, or at least to live. And after all, every single villager had
treated him as if he were insane, agreeing with him, but as soon as he turned
his back they laughed at him, he was sure of it, theyd have to pay.

What does the demons seek then? What is their goals? He studied their history
in the lyceum for weeks, trying to figure out if this could and should be his
goals and ambitions as well, and after reading the sundering, he decided that
the Chasm was were he belonged. After all, he had always been an evil
creature, and why not embrace if fully now when he wasnt fooling himself,
the scion it was.

A shady figure in dark clothes attempted to hide in the sand dunes, obviously
not succeeding as the figure leans into the desert wind, keeping his cloak
tightly wrapped around himself.
The figure moved through the dunes, to the edge of a deep chasm, he stepped
up towards the nightwalker, disappearing into the shadows, a faint whisper
could be heard and one could see the nightwalker react, almost looking
surprised if feelings could be displayed in their faces. Another had made his
pledge to the chasm...

Chapter 9

Mhuurg is confused, the long years of solitude has made him thirst for
contact with others, hes like a sponge sucking up contact with other beings,
listening to their ideas. He even finds himself talking with lifelong
enemies, just to hear a voice. If the right buttons are pushed, Mhuurg will
be manipulated, easily. At least until he finds a new purpose and goal with
his life.

As things are leaning, his latest conversation with Hajoboboq might turn him
against the village, and in the long run he might be seeking out the Scions.
The longer time goes, the less hell avoid using magic. It will start with
something simple, perhaps a root or something eatable, then slowly advancing
towards potions and perhaps if he learns how to use them, scrolls.

However, he is still open towards the village, but it wont be lasting for
long...

Chapter 8

Mhuurg is leaving the village, he believes himself to be a demon, in an
attempt to take his own life, he failed, the will to live was far too strong.
Now he will sink in to a deep depression, just wandering Thera, talking with
people if they address, him, possibly ignore them if they dont. Sometimes
hell lash out in anger towards mages, sometimes in anger towards villagers.

He is disoriented, without goals or a will, the only thing he knows is that
he is a demon, and that he cannot even take his own life. He might be
reckless, but he wont actively seek to kill himself.
Depending who and how people interact with him, he will either take the route
that will lead him back to the village, or seek to destroy the world by
seeking to unleash the Cculgra and join the Scions.

Chapter 7

Mhuurg saw the outlining of the secret door and reached forward to open it
when he suddenly froze. He hadnt noticed at first that the secret door in
fact was a mirror, and the reflection staring back at him was not the face he
thought to be his own... It was a demon. Had he not noticed that it was wearing
the same clothes, armors and weapons as he were, he would have assaulted it
at the spot, instead, he slowly lifted his right arm and watched as the demon
did the same...

The giant greeted the berserker as he approached the hill, but he didnt
respond, slowly dragging his feet the middle-aged man walked past the giant,
walking straight towards a small hut with a tremendous amount of skulls
attached to it. The giant watched as the man picked up a torch and lit it on
the open fire outside the hut, something glinting on his chin, possibly tears
could be seen as he stands there, watching the hut before reaching forward,
putting it on fire.
With the torch in his hand, the man stands there, watching the hut burn down
to the ground, the giant shakes his head in dismay.

Chapter 6

Drops of fresh blood trickles down from older cakes of dried blood covering
this mans body, his rugged look accompanied by dozens of scars tells the tale
of a life filled with battle. The man seems misplaced in this very neat and
luxury surrounding. He is standing before a huge mansion, glancing around
himself, slowly nodding his head he takes a step inside.

Mhuurg is a killer, cold-blooded killer, the rage and anger he used to carry
out his deeds with are gone, most of the time, and a calm coldness now takes
over his mind when he can smell the demon-blood.

He has now begun to question why he was not born a half-demon when his mother
were a demon and his father a human, he finds the thought almost unbearable,
and he has convinced himself that only more demon-blood can cleanse him, his
only way of coping with the fact that demon-blood runs in his veins.

Should Mhuurg encounter a mirror he will be shocked, shaken to the very core
of his being as he will indeed see the face of a demon staring back at him.
He might begin to question his calling, possibly taking a time-out from the
village, contemplating his faith, possibly experimenting with some magic if
his interactions leads him that way, most likely he will return to the
village, but if the right things are said and done, he might end up as a
Scion or Scarab, although unlikely.

For now his two goals are to become a mage-slayer (In his eyes a;role + demon-slayer) and to take over as a commander, the second goal might be more
long term, depending on how well Ohbehb does in Mhuurgs eyes.

However finding lord Daevryns mansion might change it all, if he manages to
cope with what he is and not what he was born to, this might keep him on
track.

Chapter 5

Em tells meh yuh havin sight, Mhuurg?

The gigantic creature towered over him and his cat-like companion. Warlord
Borkhad was truly epitomized the appearance of a firegiant. With very short
and concise sentences he told to two what he wanted from his villagers and
what would happen to them if they failed him, before they both knew it the
giant was gone again and they could now feel the power of the head surging
inside them.

Over the past five years Mhuurg has experienced a lot. He has grown from
childhood and become a man. He is in love with his freedom and proud of his
craft. However the more demon-skulls he collects the more his bloodthirst
conquers him. He wants more, more blood, more demon-skulls. He has decided
that he will never be the one to lose again, he lost his childhood, he lost
his freedom. Now when he has regained his freedom, hell never give it up.
Every fight against one of the demons he considers to be a fight for freedom,
and to ultimately win, he must destroy magic and the demons who make use of
it, and not only win, he must utterly destroy his opponents, break down their
will and display his superiority to the world and the village.

He will advance slowly in his guild, to make sure that he learns how to make
the best use of his skills. If he wishes to accomplish his goals, he must be
the best and since he is a villager he wants the village to be the best it
can be, for that, hell need to take over the leadership and step up as the
commander. No doubt he is still to young, but things are never set in stone

His hatred towards the shamans have increased as well. After several ambushes
from them and even a visit to his pit has enraged him even more. He now sees
them as almost an equally important enemy as the demons, had it not been for
the tablet he wouldnt have made any difference between the two.

Chapter 4

Mhuurg wasn't born evil. However his circumstances had led him one direction
constantly. Every single being that are able to use magic, or are under the
strong influence of magic appears as foul demonic looking creatures to him.
He fears them immensely but over the course of his young life he has decided
to fight his fears, kill them before they can kill him. And in a sense he
wants to make the world a better place, so that others will be free of these
hideous creatures. He do however realize that not everyone see the mages as
he does, and he keeps it to himself for the most part, unless he's drunk. He
has quit the drinking as he joined the thieves' guild, but every now and then
he takes a bit too deep look into the bottles.
Since he always has been the underdog, he prefers to have it that way.
He hates mages and shamans, and he will do close to anything to see them
dead.

Chapter 3

The thundering and booming crashes came with less and less intensity when it
all suddenly went quiet. Mhuurg peeked out from the rock and saw a staggering
figure walking towards what should be his master's now lifeless body.

He quickly snuck out from behind the rock, grabbing one of the robbers'
daggers on the way, slowly making his way towards the figure, now crouching
over his masters' corpse. As he approached he threw himself towards the
figure, using all of his force when driving the knife into the spine of the
creature, they both landed in a heap and the body beneath him had a few
spasms before it all went quiet. A surprised look spread on Mhuurg's face. No
resistance at all? Mhuurg did not know that the mage had depleted all of his
powers fighting his master. He quickly gathered what supplies that he could,
just in case he had butchered the mages bodies and buried them part by part
before he left.

Weeks later Mhuurg appeared in Galadon. He quickly made his way to Bargalha's
Tavern that he had heard many of the none-slave crewmembers talk about as a
good place to find a job, of course, it would also mean booze, the only way
for him to drive away the demons that filled his vision as he walked among
the crowds...

The next morning Mhuurg woke up by someone pouring a bucket of cold water
over his face. An ebony skinned duergar that he vaguely remembered from the
day before kicked him in the side and said: If you ever want to join that
village you and Wyleldar talked about yesterday, you better shape up and
start training!

Chapter 2

As they loved their son above everything they quickly cleaned him up and
sneaked away with him to the Shaman and told them the whole thing. The shaman
immediately saw the opportunity promised Mhuurg's parents to help them and
send their son away for treatment, he had recently heard of good place for
those of mental instability he claimed.

Just hours later the Shaman had packed his bags and they were on the road.
The journey went to Hamsah Mu'Tazz, as they arrived to the city gates the
shaman quickly bound up Mhuurg and put a gag in his mouth and a rope around
his neck, now leading him bound, like a dog through the gates towards the
docks.

Years later, thin as a willow but with muscles hardened by labor Mhuurg met
his new master with horror. A demonic looking figure wearing a long robe,
claiming to need someone who could both fight decently and carry his heavy
luggage across the country as he traveled deep into the mountains to explore
some buried temple.

They traveled for weeks, and each day when they saw other people in the
distance his master uttered some strange words that always transformed Mhuurg
into a demonic looking creature. Each time Mhuurg became more and more
enraged, but after all the years as a slave he had learned not to let is
show.
One night after they had set camp they were ambushed, for the first time the
mage seemed to struggle with his magic, that's when Mhuurg saw it, another
demonic figure on the other side of the camp, the two stood there glaring at
each other, sparks could be seen in the air between them and the battle
stopped for a moment. Mhuurg wasn't sure what to do, if he killed his master,
he'd just be in the hands of the other mage, and if he killed the bandits and
the other mage, he'd still be with his master... He didn't get to chose for
long before the battle began again, he was facing two opponents using small
knives, all the fights between the slaves on the ships had made him quite the
fighter, and it did not take long before the battle was over, a few deep cuts
on his arms and a stab wound to his gut, however he suspected that nothing
vital had been hit as he didn't feel to bad. The two mages were still dead
locked in battle, now there were huge fireballs raining down at them and
lightning creating sparks as they hit each others shields.
Mhuurg took cover behind a huge rock, pondering the situation. Could the mage
track him down if he fled? Then again, if he fled, he would have left one of
those creatures a live when he perhaps had a chance to kill them...

Chapter 1

A demonic looking figure stared down at Mhuurg, a pointed talon stretched
down towards him, gently stroking his chin. Mhuurg did all he could to get
away from the foul beast, as much as a baby can do... He screamed, throughout all
of his first year Mhuurg screamed. His parents just thought that he had
colic, and the village shaman, who had no real idea what was going on just
confirmed it for them.

The only time Mhuurg was calm and relaxed, acting like a normal child was
when his mother weren't around.

As Mhuurg grew up, he sometimes saw demonic looking creatures traveling
through the village, they all looked like his mother. It had taken a long
time for him to get used to being around his demonic looking mother, so when
these people came to town, he had hid behind his father, screaming.

When Mhuurg was 3 years old, his parents began to realize that everything
wasn't alright with Mhuurg. First of all, he never seemed to have liked his
mother. He had even refused her breast. And if he hurt himself, he always
went to his father, everything any normal child would have gone to their
mother with, Mhuurg went to his father with instead.

As they began to talk with Mhuurg about this, they realized that their son
didn't see mages as regular people, but rather like demonic looking
creatures. The shaman had no explanation for this and tested all sorts of
things with poor Mhuurg. Nasty remedies, exorcisms and communes. Nothing
seemed to help

The years passed and when Mhuurg was seven years old something terrible
happened. Mhuurg had never been liked by the other children, he was always in
a fight. Almost with everyone. This day however, things got out of hand. One
of the demonic looking children once managed to set a spark to Mhuurg's hair,
the adults that were around cheered as if something great had happened,
Mhuurg however was terrified.
Later that day, the remains of that child were found. The limbs hacked into
pieces, hastily and shoddily buried. None but Mhuurg's parents had any
suspicions, they knew what had happened as soon as Mhuurg came home, covered
with dried blood.
