Chapter 3

Born in the depths of Aran'gird Dracmael had a common duergar upbringing.
Being of the Fretharan he spent most of his days stealing from the young
ones in the Grethar'aran clan and playing with small mithril axes. It was not
until his fifteen birthday when he was brought to the village shaman that it
all changed. The shaman chanted and swayed from side to side. Then suddenly
his eyes opened and he fixed Dracmael with his gaze.
- "Fire! The streets and buildings are burning. None will escape! You will
bring it. It will be your fault. It is written and you can not escape it."
The shaman tumbled to the side waking up from the trance looking at the young
duergars chocked face.
- "Not all I see is well and by the looks of you your foretelling was not
what you had hoped. But I can tell you this they all come true."

Trying to get away from his destiny Dracmael, left the city and did what not
many duergars do. Went above grown and sought out a fighting teacher there.
After a wile up with the damned floating fireball he over heard a monk talk
about Iunna. An Immortal that was the god of fire. Even though it seemed to
be just another surface-wretch Dracmael got intrigued and though that if he
could find this god perhaps he could control his fire?

Chapter 2

Today a reminder of his faith was shown. When fighting the elf singer his
skin caught on fire. No one else in the group got harmed the way Dracmael
was. Long after the elf was dead his skin was still ablaze. His quest to
speak with the Lady Iunna has there fore been intensified and after a lot of
searching he has found her shrine.

While searching for the shrine he also stumbled upon a secret cabal. The
Scions of the eternal night they are called. From what he has understand they
work to bring forth the dust from the shadow plane. This sounded very
intriguing to Dracmael. Because if the goddess can not help him. He will not
be able to return to the depths where he belongs at least he can make the
surface a bit more like home. And getting rid of that damned floating
fireball in the sky. He most seek their members and learn more about them.

Role

Chapter 1

Finally Dracmael was able to get the attention of the god Iunna. Though she
didnt seem that god like to beguine with though as the talk went on he
changed his mind. She could read his mind and seem to be looking into his
soul. Now next time perhaps he can learn some from her. Now since he has seen
for himself. He was told she like poetry. Perhaps he should send her a scroll
before the next visit.
