Chapter 7

Met an elf and a gnome this day. Both were mages, not a surprise there.
They took me into the past, where i saw a galadon that once was, and a forest that no longer exists.
I shall return there one day, perhaps with them at my side, to try and prevent that forest's desctruction.
More importantly, they showed me the strength of magic, which matches or exceeds my own physical
strength. I shall have to practice my skills, and master the swords, if I am to become strong enough
enough to revive the honor of my race. Too long have the evil fire giants pillaged these lands
unchecked by any of the others. That will come to an end, as all fire giants will be slain from Thera, by me and
any I ca find who wish to join me in this quest.

Chapter 6

in the mountains I cam upon a dwarven settlement. They seemed to be
under siege from a camp of orcs to the west. While my business is not with those foul
orcs, their attempt to spread their evil nature throughout must not go unchecked. I will
lend my swords to the dwarves, though they ask not for my help, and begin
a gradual extermination oif every orc i find out there.

Chapter 5

From this point forward, all beings, no matter who, which cross swords with me and fail
will be left with nothing. Everything they bring will be destroyed.
I tire of those who think they can act without reprecussion
and so they shall learn that if they attack, they had better win.

Chapter 4

My skills have grown since my younger days, and I have reached a
a point where my strength will be able to actually help some of those who are in need.
I have already aided a few members of my kin and others who have noble intentions, and will
to do so, lending my strength to them that they may increase their own.
It is not the victory or defeats in life, it is the legacy you leave at your end that
will be remembered. Slaying evil and dishonorable is one path, but aiding the future heros of Thera ia another.
In aiding them I aid the future of the light, instead of just its present.

Chapter 3

It seems the tribunals are pushing for membership, and happened upon
myself as a potential recruit. Though my knowledge not be as great as others, I
think I will take them up on their offer. Upholding the law can only further
my efforts to aid the future heroes of the realms. They need safe havens where
they can talk, meet, and share stories and plan
further exploits without fear of being attacked by some opportunist.
If I manage to join the tribunals, I shall work to provide
such a haven for them. My blades and maces, along with
my life, can serve the heroes of tomorrow by helping keep
some of Thera peaceful and orderly.

Chapter 2

I have decided that the tribunals be not the proper path for
me to take, as I have lived a long life and starting at this late
juncture would be less than productive in aiding the young heroes of
Thera. However, my quest to aid the young continues, but must be
refined so that items given are no longer done so freely. Taken for granted
they might be, unless the things i bestow are earned by the recipient.
And so each person I offer aid to must first prove
their dedication. However, the task must not be insurmountable. And so the
task offered will be a simple one.
All who seek my aid must first obtain and give me Flontinot's
Last Cookie, so that they can show they have ventured and explored
to a degree and are not simply seeking unearned rewards.
All who ask my aid, good, neutral, evil, shall have it to a limited
degree so long as they bring me a cookie.
All the cookies I amass will be saved, that I might know
the amount who have sought and received my aid.

Chapter 1

Have adventured over vast areas of Thera in me old age, and in me travels and
quest to aid the future heroes of Thera (which has netted me only 8 cookies so far), I have been
travelling with a wonderful elven mage going by the name of Ferlynn. Ferlynn has been showing me
not only some of the more secluded areas of Thera, but also has been enlightening me about the
role magic plays in Thera. A seemingly devout follower of lord Twist, her magical prowess never
ceases to amaze me, so much so that I have now begun aiding her in management of the veil.
We have travelled many places and been helping each other whenever possible, and it is
grows more apparent each time that her own powers have now eclipsed my own. To think she were but a novice
novice mage exploring thera when we first met and now at me best I could do little to best her.
But more importantly, she has taught me to appreciate the powers Twist bestows upon Thera, and the strength of magic
compared to that of steel and brawn.
What time I have left in Thera, however long that may be, shall have to be to further continued exploration
and understanding of the true nature of magic and its powers, a difficult task for any giant
to be sure, but under the guidance of Ferlynn and others who might have insight to offer, perhaps I can
grasp the true nature of magic, and compare it to the physical natures of the world, to best
understand how the two interrelate and compliment each other.
I think only then will I fully appreciate the importance Twist plays in the continued evolution
of thera and all its inhabitants.
