Chapter 5

Chrichuk's parents were mage apprentices in the High Tower of
Sorcery, but they were slain in a battlerager raid. Chrichuk
did not feel a great loss over his parents, but instead he
could not help but feel awestruck by the precision and
efficiency with which the villagers searched out and killed
every single mage in the tower.
Inspired by their prowess, he searched out Thrym in Balator,
wishing to be trained as a warrior. During his elementary
training as a warrior, Chrichuk started to notice his
attunement with the elemental magics that his parents had
also studied.
Chrichuk's interest in these powers he found to be possible to
tap grew. Quite swiftly his delving in the magely arts was found
out by Thrym, and he was expelled from the scool. He fled to Galadon
with Thrym's students pursuiting. He joined the invoker school and
swore revenge over his hurt pride.

Role

Chapter 4

Through interactions with Gorg and Durzan, Chrichuk has come to
believe that the Scions would be worthy allies for him while he
exacts revenge on the maic haters who rejected him. Although
claiming so, Chrichuk has not developed a keen interest on the
prophecy and the eternal night itself, but the thought of powerfull
extra planar creatures devouring his enemies and making his revenge
deceisive sounds interesting.

Role

Chapter 3

The village is but a whimper, and Chrichuk is starting to understand
how petty and foolish his thoughts for revenge over lost pride have
been, when compared to the achievements that could have been reached
by studies of the night. The power of the small subset of Ccul'gra he
has seen and learned of is amazing to him. In a discussion with
Elemek he has learned of plans to use objects into which power from
elemental plains has been siphoned into. Perhaps this is an opening
for Chrichuk to create something he believes might be worth his
attention.

Role

Chapter 2

The original idea of Elemek, has developed some. Chrichuk
has consolidated his belief that particularly items that
can open a partial rift to the elemental planes, by conjuring
creatures from them, can be used to weaken the planar
boundaries. The target will be the four prime elements - earth,
fire, air and water. He is well aware that there is another
plane, of Spirit, but he does not hold it very important. Seeing
how his trade meddles with the other four more directly, and
he is quite intent on being seen as the supreme scholar.
Furthermore, Chrichuk is certain that thinning of the boundaries
will allow him to tap easier into the elements, especially so
should he know the secrets.

As of how the ritual, he believes that somehow strengthening the
portals, they could cause disruptions in the boundaries, and
strengthen the links. There is yet much to learn, the full course
of the ritual is undecided, but further study is taking place.

Chapter 1

Aging year by year, Chrichuk matures. A talk with the Sunwarden
prompted him to assess his own achievements. In his youth, he was
insecure, seeking to lash out in anger and in revenge, to prove
himself. Once his anger was sated and his power grew, a desire for
even more power took its place. Forbidden knowledge and the gates
it could unlock began to intrigue him.
Thoughts of his own morality came up, and Chrichuk considered it.
Some say that to merely study the lore he does in the Fold is evil
in itself. But it they are just tomes. The sacrifices made in the
rituals, the slaughter and torture of the so called innocent is
note condoned by those who claim to know the code of ethics. But
why is should it be wrong to sacrifice the insignificant? No, a
code of conduct, should there be any, can only be created by those
with the power to enforce it.
But how is power measured, then? Chrichuk realised, or perhaps he
noticed it long before, that few will and can stand against him in
battle. But is that power? To battle is much like stooping to the
level of beasts. The primal thrill of slaughter, and the hunt leading
to it can be rewarding, but hardly fitting a great scholar. Sometimes
a show of prowess is necessary, to intimidate any foes that would
interefere with his doing, but is that all he would be known for?
A great warrior? A scholar?
All things come to their end. But a legacy remains after the end.
Chrichuk will not be forgotten.
