Gjourriec Gak'Alakdindurm the Legend of the Battlefield, Magistrate of Hamsah Mu'tazz
DescriptionThe massive frame of this giant is fullfilled with stange metal vestments and large hefty chains linked to each other forming a protective network all over his body. His features are dull and include of his extremely pale complexioned skin that seems to have all sorts of rashes and cuts with puss oozing out of them. His eyebrows are thick and furry and seems as if they are overseeing the rest of his face. His nose is flattened and broad and clings to his face with immensely obnoxity. His eyes are dull black in color and eternally narrowed, yet they come across as focussed and determined. His lips are thick and thin strands of hair fall over them from his beard and moustache. A few pieces of meat and some drink are still stuck into his beard, giving out an unbearable stench everytime he comes closer or opens his mouth to speak. His ears are rounded and seem to be replused by his face, judging by the way they are turned away from his face. Each of them has a piercing at their bottom with a round silvery ring inside. Curled grey hair flow down from his head, thick and entangled, full of dirt and filth and things you would not really wish to find out about. His hands emerge from a flawlessly forged breastplate, hairy and hefty, wielding two hammers that are lined with silver and dripping with blood. A few bottles of drink and a tightly strapped to his back that holds a few weapons, maces and axes mostly. Upon his shield you notice embossed the insignia of scales of justice. As you go closer to him, you also notice about him that ....

RoleChapter 3 Bardic Advice Added Sun May 9 02:30:29 2004 at level 40:Come here, lad. Let me let me see what you've done. You seem to have lost, what you thought you'd have won. Come here, giant. To learn. Come close by my side. Your guts I will grow, your pride I will hide.
The bard stops strumming his harp and looks towards Gjourriec. His lanky frame shifting from side to side, he inspects the young giant of his shortcomings. Mutting under 'Still as filthy as a rat.' he adds. Muttering under his breath.
'So, you come to me because you made a mistake or because they made a mistake by throwing you out ?'
'I come because I made the mistake. I spoke to rough, too loud. It seems that my passions and pride did come in way, somhow.'
Frowning slightly the bard grabs his strum and begings singing: The rule of passion, be it what it will The ruling passion conquers reason still. The air in your head I can easily do away But for all this there is a price to pay.
'Start with telling me why did you distract youself with joining the Spire, you know what our plans are, you need to reclaim the throne, Thousands of giants are awainting your return.
'I've in my days of travel and talks associated betrayal with lawlessness. Only the chaotic of heart could go against something they've served so long. Vile black hearted marplots.I found the spire having the ideals that I share. I joined them hoping I could take them to new heights while doing so myself. I had to train under some banner so the scouts of the enemy camp do not realise of my being alive. Rumours were beginning to float of a Filthy'Alakdindurm roaming the lands. But after I gathered myself a badge I realised we could use the aid of the spire in the north. We could perhaps pursue the spire to enlengthen its reach to the Lands of the North, to control the dark, vile rule of Udgaardian beasts so we might prosper more as we trade with it. Also that would stop the jaette's aiding the Felar and his men who still seek our lands. But all that is past, tell me of my actions in future, I'm for now at a loss of words.'
'It is so simple, boy. I'll tell you what to do. First, cheer up. Good, now listen carefully. Control your passions, have your Lord mark you for it, when he has done so I will give you a tome of courage, that is if you can ask the Great White One to allow me to do so. Maybe since you are heir to the throne and so hearty, he might agree. The tome is the tome of virtue. It has heavy consquences to one who recites it, and only you giants may, but it grants the owner all the virtues he reqires to excel. When you have proven to me that you have conquered your passions, perhaps by showing to me your Lord's Mark, cause if he thinks you are fit for such, I must too, then I will take you to the White One. Now cheer up, you have much at hand. Here's a song for the road -
Listen to your heart but also listen to your head Listen to your elders, pay heed to what is said Listen to your friends, if your friends are true And you will find them all carefully listening to you.

RoleChapter 1 A good Apprehendor Added Fri May 28 05:21:20 2004 at level 51:'Don't be foolish! How dare you think like that.' 'Don't you know I've guided you hard and long so one day we might reclaim your father's throne and honor?' 'And you selfishly drown yourself in this adopted cause' said the bard with a snort.
'I forget nothing. But don't you see how this works ? I do.' 'Betrayal is the child of chaos. Chaos the tool of criminals. Until I deal with these criminals, I cannot deal with chaos and the chain continues.'
'and what if you drown in this cause too deep or loose too much in this war that once I choose for you to train in, but now you seem to adopt close to your heart?'
'I won't. Every time I have a bad dream, I can forsee the bastard stab into my fathers back, the blood trickle down, the crown tumble...'
'My blood burns at its thought, but it would be too early to rush. All their mercenaries come from these lands. All criminals and marplots and choas mongers.' 'The guards who make my kin slave and toil and then enjoy the spoils of my land.' 'I must bring and end to criminals, bring law and order here, it will spread through the land to the north, it will weaken the strength of the Bastard sitting on my throne.'
The bard stroked his harp for a moment but withheld his song.
'If your choice is made, so be it. But I'm not growing any younger.' 'I shall come meet you from time to time, if I do not for a long time, meet the Great White One, he shall guide you.'
Gjourriec noded quietly.
'Then, I leave you with a song. Do well, if your friends and your Provost thinks you would make a good apprehendeor.. 'It is Vindicator' Gjourriec interruped.
' Yes, what ever they call it, just hold your passions strong.'
The bard slowly gathers his harp, strumming softly breaks into a song...
The child has grown, the heir to the throne His task began, to build with blood and bone Stariways that would lead him back, just him alone To the frozen north, his fathers grave, his yearning throne.

RoleChapter 5 Bardic Banter Added Mon May 3 23:12:02 2004 at level 22:The tale I speak of is a sad one. In the frozen lands of the north the armies were busy. Some fighting for the Giants some fighting against them. Some working for the felar and some fighting against them. Some fighting For the Udgaardians and some... yes you guessed it right - fighting against them.
Many battles were won, many skirmishes lost. Many lives were done and many blades were lost. But few shone through the war and through this age - The Age of Consipracy.
This tale I speak of is a sad one. The Giants of the north were under the of Gijirak Alakdindurm, Lord of the Thunderstorm. His fury, it is rumoured, could invoke the clouds itself to burst into thunder just like he inspired his men to burst out into a thunderous fury. He was a man of honor, but sometimes King but put aside their honor just so that they might remain kings, specially in such times. The plot had begun. With the giants warring with the udgaardians all seemed well. The final battle was to be fought, the giants were in much larger numbers and had a much better reputation for their fighters and armor that was unmatched.
Their furs were thick, their skin was tough. Their minds were slick, their blades were rough. Their shields were sturdy, their feet were grounded. Their frame was burly, the enemy was surrounded!
The fight was fought long and hard, the little people put up a resistance better than expected. They read all the moves of the giants and seemed to know all their strategies, How Peculiar! But what they actually had was a a traitor among the giant camps who passed them information and the likes. The war finally ended, most of the army was destroyed save for a few hundred of the giants, their King and his Ministers and ME! Of course!
When we had started to sing, the minister and king entered the encampment and all of a sudden some of the soldiers charged the others, slaying them in an instant. I hid behind the table and later pretended to be dead and with luck on my side they did not notice. The Minister came out to the cheers of the betrayers! What shallow giants were these ?
The trecherous shall march, the shallow will savour The captured enemy arch, the spoils of war without endavour. The King is Dead! O Woe to the lands of the ice. The King is Dead! A victim to a wolf in disguise!
*The Bard turns to young Gjourriec who begings sobbing*
Don't cry little one. You are lucky I reached here before them and took you away with me.
You father is dead, it is a great loss, we know. in times of war, courage you must show. Hold his hammer, a gift it is from me to you. Hold your head high, these times shall pass through.
Now, go north, you will find a guildmaster there. He will teach you the arts you must know. You shall grow and gain in pride with pain. So one day you might be King again.
