Chapter 1

Kebe was born in the Shadow Grove. Palanthas was the little city to
the north from the Shadow Grove, it was under control of the Mages
that time. Villagers who hate magic were trying to destroy that
city and kill all mages inside for centuries. Almost every week
there were big battles going inside. Every week crowds of mages
and warriors were crossing his Grove leaving dirt, dust and corpses
on their way. They almost made wide road right inside Shadow Grove.

At first Kebe was afraid of all those strong warriors and powerful
mages walking around and was hiding in trees most of the time.
When he grew enough he has realized that big conflicts is what
he's looking for, it's time of actions and great fun when there are
2 groups of people are fighting each other. He was setting traps on
that path in the Shadow grove. Using form of a dire wolf he was
frightening assistants of mages and villagers, stealing their food
and armors after. When Kebe managed to find alone beaten warrior or
mage he always tryed to murder them and hide their corpses in tress
so nobody would understand what have happened. He has created few
earthquakes under Palanthas and burned few camps where villagers
were resting. After each diversion young Kebe was hiding in trees
and enjoying results. Many years both mages and villagers didn't
even know who was making their war even more awful.

After many years groups of strong warriors and powerful mages could
still easy pass Shadow grove, but their support - people who were
selling them food, water, weapons, armors, magical pills were afraid
to enter Shadow grove. Shadow grove was the only way to enter
Palanthas and the city and war were slowly dying. Few years later
last citizen has left Palanthas and warriors had no need to walk there.
City has dyed, forest has grown on it's place. Mages have summoned
powerful curse upon Shadow grove when they left city, now even
wood-elves don't live within cursed grove.

Kebe is now traveling in Thera and looking for interesting conflicts.
There is nothing more pleasant for him than making both sides of
conflict lose.
