|
Sebath the Unholy Lady
DescriptionA visage twisted and masked with a frozen expression of violent rage that would otherwise be devoid of goodness is compromised by the inner struggle shining deep within the pitch black void of this arial's eyes. The corner of her lips curl up, and if not for the menacing expression on her face, she would appear to be smiling rather than snarling. A delightful and noble expression is interjected with hatred and a penchant for destruction. Where there was once feather are tiny prickles of thorns on top of a smooth complexion. Giant wings covered with razor black feathers unfurl from the center of her back. Covering an expansive breath, tendrils of darkened blood outline her wings, pulsing steadily with each gust of wind. Following the expansive wingspan, a tiny trail of illuminated white feathers snake a path to her upper torso before abrupty disappearing amidst a pale complexion of midnight black feathers. Instead of feathers, winding around her right arm is a layer of draconian scales reaching down to a sharpened claw covered with an oily substance. Tattooed on the back of her claw is a living blood red eyeball. Contrary to her right arm, Sebath's left arm shine with beauty. Illuminated bright white feathers glow peacefully among the radiance of pristine purity that seems to eminate from a perfect complexion. If not for the corruption evident in the sharpened talons, one might think her left arm was attached through surgical means.

RoleChapter 1 A brief summary Part II Added Sun Apr 29 13:02:25 2007 at level 5:Her views: Her views are a mixture of both good and evil. As an great hero of the Light, she was a zealous creature to purify the darkness in any way she could. She believed that true evil came from an internal struggle that could only be won by cleansing oneself of the Darkness. She was to lead by example, and to teach where she could. As is shown by her eventual corruption, she was blind in a sense - external factors often overpower the purity of the sole. In a sense, she was both right and wrong, since evil and good could not exist without each other. Her sense of self is a constant warring structure. Thus, while she does see that one must war with one self, she does not see her clouded judgement, as she has an almost haughty attitude toward inner turmoil. On the other hand, the talisman knows that Valguarnera's mind was opened and his eyes unclouded by the simple physical realms. It knows that the inevitable fate is to uncover the pieces of darkness is others minds, and to expand on that darkness. The blinded profane come in two parts - those of the Light, similar to Khara'ri who could not possibly fathom the duality of internal and external evil, and those of the Dark, whose quench for death and destruction is only limited to one plane. Rather, there are multiple planes of Death, and to die countlessly over and over until every shred of the soul is deceased - such comes with the eventual bringing of the Nightwalkers.

RoleChapter 2 A failed escape Added Sun Apr 29 01:21:39 2007 at level 1:Faster. Faster. Faster.
A single thought blazed through her head. Unheeding of her surrounding, she furiously flapped her wings, weaving a path of masterful exuberance and panic through the pale moonlight that illuminated the blood red creatures underneath her. Amidst the carnage of a hazy battlefield were half ripped bodies of various races, thrashing even more vividly to escape the gray veil of nonexistance and death. Or possibly to embrace the dark void and escape the howling tone of a cadre of hellhounds being called to a feast. Strewn alongside their fallen comrades were broken jagged weapons, once living and screaming for blood with their master's will behind their life, now only inanimate decorations in a world of turmoil. Yet even the battlefield was long forgotten in the mind of Khara'ri, a simple arial female who, despite being an outcast and a representative of a tentative truce between the high elves and the arial city, gained the trusts and friendship of her elven counterparts. Who became as accepted within the secretive high guards of the high elven elite guards as any other elves. Who now has clenched in her slender hands a trinket pulsing with outrage and sentience stolen from deep within the enemy camp. Behind her, snarling with rage and flying with purpose, were various creatures of different shape and size. One thing was common within their ranks - a petulant desire to force their misshapen muscles and rip the intruder to shreds.
Gasping with fatigue, the adrenaline boost of a near sought out victory proved too little for Khara'ri as one of the demons chasing her spit out a glob of acid. Skewering her right wing, the acid sizzled and snapped as a hoarse cry of pain erupted from the heroine's dry throat. The single word "faster" became light buzz as a dull haze of blackness began to creep into her mind. She could almost hear the chants of her fallen comrades welcoming her into a wonderful eternal sleep. If not for the feeling of evil oozing from her hand, she might have embraced the end. If not for the trinket, she might have fallen only as a heroine who failed to accomplish her task. Yet even the greatest of intentions and bravery does not overcome ancient darkness.
A loud shrill suddenly erupted from her mouth, almost as if she was being fueled by renewed strength. Slowly, than ever quicker, the rush of the desire to go even faster returned to her mind. Her spiral to her meaningless death halted suddenly, just before the snapping and foaming mouths of the hellhounds waiting for a thrashing prey. With the renewed strength, and an overwhelming exuberance, her muscles contracted even quicker as she dodged the fell magic thrown her way.
For days she traveled, unaware of the fatigue in her body, unaware of the near shattered tendons of her wings. Always beneath her were piles of corpses and weapons, a pandemonium of weapons as if a tornado of pure unadulterated anguish spewed carcasses in abundance. And yet, she did not realize that she was actually going in circles, as the only thought blazed into her mind was to reach her destination faster. Unknowing that the war was already over, the battle already defeated, and only the scavengers are left throughout the battlefield.

RoleChapter 3 A brief summary Added Sun Apr 29 01:20:35 2007 at level 1:Philosophy: To put it short, Sebath is a corrupted creature. Once a well respected warrior, a diplomat between two kingdoms to stop an oncoming darkness, she was unknowingly tricked by the allies of the Ccul'gra. She has a penchant for betrayal, being how she was corrupted. She also enjoys a slow spiral into corruption and insanity, and she employs all she can to bring about that type of behavior among others. However, even the evil that permeates her soul cannot rid every trace of her psychae - she has a tendency to act in a good manner ever so often. The dominant evil is trying to bring about the Eternal Night (naturally, she wants to join the Scions). However, the good is fighting two fronts - to stop the plans of the evil and to try to regain control.
The talisman: The book that corrupted Valguarnera has many manisfestations and different counterparts. The talisman is a source of power for the Nightwalkers, a gateway if you will, where their physical "bodies" cannot pass through, but rather their intentions and essence. When the ritual was complete within the ruins of Shadar Logoth, the evil of the forsaken city and the dark magic of the book intermingled, creating a sentience in the shape of the talisman. Sebath will often speak to the talisman, a little like gholam from Lord of the Rings. The talisman has embedded itself on Sebath's right hand.
Coming chapters will be stories of important events throughout her life.
