Clarisandrie Silotanveyreil the Hand of the Unseen, Chained by Love, Doomed by Desire
DescriptionA seductive black catsuit clings to the lithe frame of this elvish maiden. A small tool belt adorns her waist. Slight ripples in the suit indicates light protective armors under its surface. Her hair is radiant silver and has been braided into several long braids which hang down her back. A platinum circlet adorns her head giving her the regal appearance of royalty. Her eyes are a piercing shade of green reminescent of a jungle cat. A tattered black cloak hangs loosely from her throat shifting over her frame as it blends into the shadows. Graceful and elegant she is perfection in motion.

RoleChapter 8 VISIONS OF HELL Added Thu Aug 23 08:28:52 2007 at level 33:The duergar bodyguards shifted uncomfortably as they glanced about the darkened streets. Hands at their weapons they surrounded the grey carriage as they made their way through the city of drow. Feverish looks of fear etched on their faces, they trudged onward to the house of the seeress. As they reached the front of the house, the carriage door opened slowly and the horned sorceress stepped out onto the street. Clutching her robes tight to her frame she quickly entered the house leaving her guards outside. From the shadows of the streets, the drow watched and waited.
The sorceress glanced about the first chamber and then began walking up the main staircase. Reaching the top of the stairs she entered the room of the seer. Crouching in the center of the room sat a scraggly drow witch. She clutched a bone cup in her hands and was surrounded by bowls of foul smelling liquid.
The seeress turned her head toward the sorceress and began to laugh. "You are bold, high-elf." she cackled as her white eyes focused in.
Clarisandrie breathed out with a sigh as she pulled the horned mask from her head. She reached to her side and tossed a bag of gold upon the floor. "The duergar were easy to fool," she stated as she knelt down facing the witch. "I am at your mercy it appears," she whispered slowly. "Before you call the drow soldiers, show me what I came for that I may die in peace."
The witch growled as she scooped up the bag of gold. She began to arrange the bowls in a circle and slowly chanted. Tossing the bone cup high in the air she whirled on the pads of her feet as she studied the surface of the bowls.
A vision began to appear on the surface.
A city of strife began to materialize. Red skied and violent clouds of darkness swirled pillars of bone and rock. Monstrous denizens of the abyss prowled the fields of death which surrounded a large castle in the center. The walls of the castle were made of humanoid bones, leering skulls, and still moving body parts of lesser creatures. The vision moved through the entrance to the castle and quickly past demonic guards that made their home within. In the lower chambers of the castle lay a prison with a dozen cells.
Clarisandrie peered deeply as she scanned for a sign of her husband. The vision stopped suddenly upon the last cell.
Hanging from a hook in the center of the chamber hung the mummified corpse of an elven warrior. Great gashes upon his flesh, and a look of horror etched on its face. Maggots moved slowly over its surface, his eyes gnawed from his skull.
The witch began to cackle as she turned toward the elf maiden. "Your mate is dead....Mammon has tricked you, fool elf!" She spat out as she turned.
The witch gasp out suddenly as she realized the elf maiden was gone.
"GUARDS!", she screamed.
Down below on the street the duergar screamed out as tiny darts found their way in their necks. As they slumped to the ground, the drow moved quickly and began to murder.
Slipping from shadow to shadow, the figure in grey moved out of the city.

RoleChapter 4 One with the Shadows: Acceptance of Greed Added Fri Sep 28 21:16:21 2007 at level 51:Tilting his head to one side, the dark knight sneered as he pushed his way through the crowded market place. His armor rippled with unholy magic as the shadows danced upon its surface. One hand always on his glaive, he walked with a violent purpose and dark intent. The crowds seemed to part for him as the people recognized his vile nature and did not wish to be targeted for reprisal. He finally came to a stop in front of a small staff run by a gnomish alchemist.
"Need some of yer potions, little one," he grumbled as he eyed the guard standing behind the tiny mage. Without another word he tossed a bloody bag onto the table, gold coins spilling out on the counter. Strands of black hair could be seen intertwined in the coin.
The gnome nodded and began passing bottles and beakers to the death knight. Each potion was absorbed into a charm bracelet on the knights wrist. The magic of holding spells creating room for each item. The knight constantly scanned the other shoppers as he secured one potion after another. A slight rippling of he shadows condensed around the area. The knight growled as he peered from side to side, concern on his face for the growing darkness.
The transaction complete, the knight growled out a word of dark magic and disappeared from sight. The shadows deepened around his form and he teleported out of the town stead.
The gnome narrowed his eyes as he stared at the area where the knight had been standing. The shadows continued to move slightly as a glimpse of a darkened form melded back into the crowds, lost to his sight. The gnome cocked his head as he stared into the surrounding crowds, a look of puzzlement on his face.
The teleportation magic came to an end and the knight found himself in a dark area of a black swamp. Content that he was alone, he began to inspect his potions. As he reached a hand into his bag, the first of the bottles crumbled into a fine powder. Shock etched on his face, he quickly rummaged through the rest of his possessions. One by one the items crumbled and faded into fine dust.
"Hellcursed thieves!", he yelled as he climbed to his feet.
*************************************************************
Clarisandrie smiled to herself as she deftly moved through her city. Dancing along the alleyways and rooftops she made her way through the guild row towards her guild of shadowy brethren. The world was at her fingertips and she grinned at her newfound treasure.

RoleChapter 3 Demons Never Forget Added Sat Sep 29 08:31:02 2007 at level 51:Gazing down from the rooftops the elven shadow watched the merchants and travelers as they bartered and traded their wares. She crouched at the precipice of the molding along the armory roof. The crowds seemed oblivious to her presence as she melded near perfect to the stonework. Guards paid her no heed as they patrolled back and forth, mere feet from her location. Her eyes were locked on a huge obese dwarf that was surrounded by several axe wielding bodyguards. He was dressed in gaudish bright robes and had large jeweled rings upon each of his fingers. The dwarf moved from merchant to merchant collecting the stall fees and taxes to be brought to the Galadon banking syndicate. The merchants handed him small bags of jewels and coin which he placed in a chest being carried by the largest of the guards.
The elven shadow continued to study the scene below with an intense look locked on her face. The wind whipped through her hair as she remaining unmoving, plotting her next moves. A moment passed and a calm look overcame her features. She shifted her cloak and all but completely disappeared against the shadows of the rooftop.
Down on the market floor a whisper of movement began moving from amungst the stalls and buildings. Dancing through the shadows and darkness she began to move closer to her mark. Her breathing became controlled and shallow, a fluid grace overtaking her every move. As she neared the cluster of guards she reached out a soft hand and caressed one of the guards leg causing him to look about the side of the building. Rolling quickly, she entered the ring of guards and melded into the shadows near a fruit stand in their midst.
The dwarf continued to place treasures into the chest and had not noticed her passing. She began to time his movements studying his eyes and hands as she planned her next move.
Just as she tensed to move the last leg of her hit, the air suddenly became filled with a static charge. The air rippled and time slowed to a near stand still. The dwarf raised his head and stared directly at her in the shadows. A red glean entered his eyes and he grinned evilly. The rest of the marketplace appeared to be frozen in their movements, only she and the dwarf seemed to be unaffected. "My little bloodpet," a dark voice whispered into her mind. "Do not think I have forgotten your promises. My servants are everywhere and you cannot hide from me." The dwarf continued to grin evilly as her as the whispering voice permeated through her mind.
"Mammon....", she whispered as she launched herself from the marketplace and began running for the safety of her guildhouse. Frantic in her actions she raced as fast as she could from the demonic presence.
As quickly as it happened, the static charge disapated and the marketplace resumed its normal activities. The dwarf shock his head and resumed his collection of the taxes.

Immortal CommentsSun Aug 19 08:11:15 2007 by 'An Immortal' at level 7 (1 hrs): An Immortal added 1600 exp for: Interesting role, setting-up a god of greed who she's dealing with and why she's a thief.
Thu Aug 23 10:30:07 2007 by 'An Immortal' at level 33 (33 hrs): An Immortal added 500 exp for: Role update goodness. Mammon tricked her, her mate is actually dead. Now she's still greedy and wants revenge. May need an align change down the road!
Sat Sep 8 10:25:25 2007 by 'Rayihn' at level 41 (70 hrs): Role contest Sept '07 Winner! Prizes Posessive, Payment of the Coward, thief points to use, and I'll come up with a cool title for her.
Sat Sep 8 14:39:06 2007 by 'Kastellyn' at level 44 (70 hrs): Offering to give Satebos (necromancer) an evil circlet she found. And telling him where Fortress folks are. So he can go kill them. Or try to kill them, I suppose.
Sun Sep 9 08:37:28 2007 by 'Rayihn' at level 44 (75 hrs): Read her latest role chapter, Kasty...basically says she's agreed to be his slave so he'll help her find her lost husband. I'm not sure what sort of alignment changes this should have, I would say it should drop it.
Mon Oct 1 16:02:34 2007 by 'Baerinika' at level 51 (146 hrs): Flat out stealing stuff from Atez (Storm giant) in the middle of Galadon. Probably needs some kind of alignment shift, it's ok to be a good sphere greed guy but that's a little far
Thu Oct 4 21:23:55 2007 by 'Lyristeon' at level 51 (157 hrs): Prayed about Mammon losing his control over him and stating he wasn't afraid of his hounds anymore. So, Daqqon jumped his ass. Let's see where this heads.
