In a moment of cruel inspiration, the Matron Mother of her house came up
with a cunning torment. She insisted that the next born into her house would bear
the name of a human. Victoria was the unfortunate, cursed with this badge of shame.
Even as she admired the Matron's idea for its genius, she hated her even
(have to log off so will continue this).

more. She also grew to have a particularly strong hate towards the rest
of her kind, because of the mockery they heaped upon her as a result of the
name. And whilst it was not their fault, she particularly hated the humans.
The embodiment of all this hatred manifests itself in the half-drow.

Upon escaped Teth Azaleth, she has set about growing in power by whatever
means present themselves. Nothing is beyond her scrupleless self.

Chapter 8

Much as it disgusted her to humble herself with the lesser races by
attending their academy, Victoria knew there was too much to learn
to avoid it. She soon discovered what a good decision this was when
she crossed paths with a wild elf. Initially hostile to the male, for
her people knew well the arrows that flew from the bushes, she soon
learnt that this one was different to those she'd heard about.
This one knew that a male's place was to serve, and he too hated the
bright sunshine, preferring the fogs of the marshes. His willingness
to pander to her beck and call soon caused her to see his potential usefulness
and she took him on as her first slave.

Perhaps this world offered more opportunity than she'd imagined.

Chapter 7

Whilst slaying Udgaard's sentries in the mountains south of the city (for
reward, not just for the enjoyment of it), Victoria spied a storm shaman below her.
Guessing that Dacob was trying to summon her, she waited until he
disappeared, then followed to spring her ambush on the sleeping giant.
A long drawn out series of battles ensued, with the storm mocking her as
a coward, despite the fact that she was simply running to the healer to cure
her blindness and re-engage him. Several times she drove him completely from
the area, but it took death at the hands of an orc to still his mocking
voice. Victoria doesn't consider that that proves anything. She intends to
personally crush this giant. She feels that their mutual Lord Daevryn will
approve of the conflict, as a struggle for pride and supremacy.

Chapter 6

Religion
Victoria is from the earth, so it seems fitting to her that a Lord of
Earth represents her efforts.

She has a fiercely competitive spirit (though she does her best to hide it when
it suits her, but often unsuccessfully -- see the Dacob role entry). She is also vengeful
where she believes she has been crossed or made to look weaker than she sees
herself. Hence her "crusade" against humans, drow and half-drow, that arises from
her naming.

She has heard much of this Lord, and met his followers. Whilst never having
uttered a word in prayer (as prayer is not natural to her at this point), she
does consider herself to be an emblem of His standards. Her only reservation
is that her Lord might not be as strong as befits her, for he is but a male.

Chapter 5

For many years Victoria has sought to join the scions, and now, at last
it appears the goal may be within her grasp. No more being sent to grow
stronger. No more being questioned by underlings. She has the recommendation
that she was told she needed, and a second audience with the Chancellor is near.
It galls her to have to deal with a half-breed of the two races she hates most,
but she knows the Chancellor is, as yet, too powerful for her to consider fighting.
It therefore makes sense for her to hold her ire in check until she
has what she wants.

Chapter 4

Whilst Victoria relishes a fight, she also has an insatiable curiousity.
As such, she spends much of her time exploring, rather than hunting, and
will often wait for battles to come to her, rather than spend time
seeking them out. She knows that there will be plenty of opportunities,
especially for one with so many foes.

Chapter 3

Victoria had a strange dream, so vivid it seemed almost real. Real enough
that it merited investigation. But how to enlist allies for what would
be a dangerous task?

And thus Victoria discovered the power of the prophets. People that would
rarely trust her leaped over themselves to help her when the right... details
... we added to the dream. "Why", said Victoria, "the champion in my dreams had
been given something by Kaubris". And so the first victim fell into her web.
The conjurer Sirontal paid with his life, but not without purpose, for Victoria
learn from his death.
The Chancellor Kanaev, so much more powerful than Victoria, was tricked into
aiding by the promise of documents, and hidden tunnels, only the latter of which
was true.

Victoria intends to use such "dreams" whenever she needs something badly enough.

Chapter 2

No longer has problem with humans or half-drow

Role

Chapter 1

Victoria has slain many humans, and restored her pride in the process.
At the same time, she had not yet punished the one that had mocked
her with a human name. But that is now behind her, for she, and her allies
have slain the Matron Mother and her allies. The drow look upon her
with respect now, and that is what her heart needed all along.

She is therefore comfortable around those she once marked for
death, and no longer is ashamed of her name. In fact, she has something
of a wry humor when it comes to humans, for those amongst the scions
like to keep pointing out their usefulness to her, but not in an
insulting manner.
