|
Zekaris Mezist the Earth's Sculptor, Nightreaver of Thar-Eris
DescriptionA wild mane of silver white hair stands out in stark contrast in comparison to the murky black skin of this human with dark-elf blood. His amber eyes slant slightly upwards at the outer edges and seem similar to those of the great cats. Standing just over six feet in height and weighing just under two hundred pounds, this half-drow is appears to be in good physical shape. The appearance of his clothes shows that he spends much of his time in the wilds. Leaves, grass, dirt and an unbathed appearance further support this fact. A silver tattoo is on his forehead, some is noticeably older than the ends which are much newer. They speak of his life as one with the diamond being the oldest and the core. The offshoots represents the way a life should be lived and appear to feed back to the diamond and not the other way around.

RoleChapter 1 Jagad Witch Added Wed Aug 1 13:53:23 2007 at level 51:Long and hard the fight has been. Rarely is there the time when the odds have been favorable. The earth is not weak, nor will it accept weakness. In my travels, I have come across a book about the Jagad. This creature is ancient, evil and of the swamps. One not to be trusted. The huron trees carry the taint of the Jagad. I do believe that she is one of the ancients that strengthen the Nightreavers of Thar-Eris. While my strength is upon the earth, the other Outlanders rely upon my strength as it ties to the ancients. As I see the way that the Jagad influences the trees, I do wonder if they have the ancient knowledge as the druids with a Nightreaver's touch. This knowledge I seek so that the earth and the ancients can be fed. I am older now and I do feel the weight of time upon my bones, so I must do this quickly. It may cost me the balance of my health, but, if I am correct, I can bring a greater strength to those who embrace Thar-Eris. I do believe that I must contact the Lord of the Earth. I believe that he has the knowledge and perhaps the understanding that I need to move forward with this.
Zekaris Mezist, the Earth's Sculptor.

RoleChapter 4 Dwarves Added Sat May 26 04:52:17 2007 at level 46:I have yet to meet one that I like. I have been what the Earth asks of me. Judge those based upon their actions. I find them distasteful at every turn. This distaste goes beyond the ancients hatred for the actions of their ancestors. I do believe that the actions of their ancestors have caused them to be the way they are. I try hard not to group them all in a single thought. But, they do make it hard not to. Whether it be one of the maran, nexus, rager or loner, I have found them to be little more than a blight on the ass of life.
I can explain all of my feelings of hatred towards them, but not all the reasons. Is it instinct? No. That is what the ancients would wish to believe. Instincts come from responding to certain actions. They do not require thought. Having time to think about a reason why I feel this way towards the dwarves is that everyone I have met...maran, rager, nexus, loner...they all have just rubbed me the wrong way with their speech, manners, warped sense of duties and their odor. I have had no regrets killing them. But, I would just as soon ignore them than anything else. They aren't worth my time.

RoleChapter 3 Sunwarden, Xinrithil Added Fri Jun 15 03:55:33 2007 at level 49:Odd folk the elves and light guys of the tree. They are hesitant at striking for the scales, but, will strike at the palace. Perhaps they see a difference that is not apparent to me. I think it is they have a blind spot that won't clear. These things being stated, I do have to admit that the Sunwarden, Xinrithil, does impress me in ways I did not think one of his ilk could. This is something the Lord of the Earth uttered to me. Or at least how I see it. One born a moron may not stay one and should be judged accordingly. Granted, he is the only elf that I have met that has shown me anything of worth. Some of his ways are quite frustrating, but, then he will do something that I see as primal. I may not like him, but, I do have a certain amount of respect for him.

RoleChapter 2 The Tenets of Faith Added Tue Jun 26 20:33:49 2007 at level 49:There is no easy path. The earth works in many forms and none are weak. No matter what you add to the earth, the path just becomes difficult in it's own way. When mixed with the waters, it becomes the swamps where only the hardiest of creatures survive. When mixed with wind it becomes a torrent that will eat away at the flesh and steal vision. The things below the earth prey on the weakness that comes from above. It holds everything. It gives shelter to those who earn it. It is the cornerstone of all that lives. It is the final place where the flesh goes when everything dies. But, the earth holds certain tenets close to it. As I have hunted and killed my prey, I have found things that those who live on and in the earth find dear. It is these things that I have brought to Lord Daevryn for the taking. But, very little is worthy of the Lord of the Earth. I will continue to bring these things to him to show I understand all of the tenets. The weaker things I have brought to him that did not grab his attention have been a wide copper bracelet, a sleek black rod, an axe of an anti-paladin and the blade of command. The blade was accepted as the earth commands all. The wide copper bracelet I brought to the Lord had nothing to do with the value perceived by the item, but for the pride of how the one who died screamed about it when I took it from his corpse. It was the thing he wished for more than anything else. A warrior's pride was in that bracelet. That pride is for Lord Daevryn. The sleek black rod was pure lust. When I had it, the mages of the tree lusted for it. It wasn't from the death of a foe, but to tell those of the tree that lust is for Lord Daevryn. Not their flesh. The unholy axe I brought to Lord Daevryn was something that could never be used by any other but a death knight. It held souls. It held destruction. It is also now with Lord Daevryn. This life is hard. As hard as the earth.
