Ciurehra the High Sorceress of the Arcane, Fearful of Law
DescriptionPlated in an odd assortment of armor stands a fragile appearing dark-elf. Her nimbleness may, however, be a gift with her near silent actions. You cannot dicern much from this woman as she does not display much to gather. her skin, however, presents itself nearly chalk white though tender and smooth. High cheeckbones and a semi-misfigured elven face give her a unique look. It gives definate presentation of the darker elves rather than the high breed. Her hair is dark black and is held high in a pony-tail. Though her bangs are left loose and long as though soft razors dangling as though a shield over her forehead. Her lips are subtle and pink. She stands the medium for her race in height.

Immortal CommentsMon Feb 19 11:01:37 2007 by 'An Immortal' at level 26 (18 hrs): An Immortal added 1800 exp for: Nicely written role! Good thoughts on freedom and how it can coexist with society in general. I'd say probably angling towards Outlander-ishness, based on her chaotic nature, though I could be wrong.
Mon Feb 19 14:46:29 2007 by 'Cyradia' at level 28 (18 hrs): Praying for me. I am NOT impressed that you know the name of my shrine's healer (which you'd have to know by OOC means) and included that in your prayer. I'll watch to see if you deserve an audience later.
Fri Feb 23 15:17:22 2007 by 'An Immortal' at level 36 (58 hrs): An Immortal added 800 exp for: Wants my tattoo intro chat.
Mon Feb 26 09:03:09 2007 by 'Cyradia' at level 40 (82 hrs): I think this char's PK ratio isn't very truthful. I think they do a good job of sneaking into ranking groups and trying to turn the table by casting appropriate spells and duoing. If he wins, a mob gets the killing blow.
Fri Mar 2 07:13:56 2007 by 'Daevryn' at level 47 (120 hrs): Well, we've got a lot of assists. :P Transmuter tends to roll that way when you're usually the second or third guy in a gang.
Sun Mar 11 22:01:11 2007 by 'Daevryn' at level 51 (178 hrs): We sure do love the 'run into the Oryx Steppes and suicide' response to being wanted. I dunno, I guess I see Cyradia kids as being a lot more badass than that. Like, if I'm going down it's in a blaze of glory, bitch!
Mon Mar 12 08:56:14 2007 by 'Cyradia' at level 51 (181 hrs): Dear Diary, Today I saw a new level of lame. I saw an uncaballed char take an item and run to his guildmaster to say if THAT gave him edge love. Le sigh.
Mon Mar 12 12:00:42 2007 by 'Daevryn' at level 51 (183 hrs): I'm a Scarab fan and I really really wanted to like this character... but most of the time I peek in we're just being Empire's hastebitch. It's like being a bashman without the dignity.
Tue Mar 13 14:52:03 2007 by 'Cyradia' at level 51 (198 hrs): That makes two of us, Daev-baby. I had really high hopes and now when he prays I just kind of squirm like I would if I found a used tissue of unknown orgin in my vicinity.
Wed Mar 14 15:33:05 2007 by 'Ysaloerye' at level 51 (209 hrs): Pulled off the big betrayal on Hizznr. Worded him right into a trap set up by Gnashgaar and Restinan.
Thu Mar 15 22:57:57 2007 by 'Daevryn' at level 51 (227 hrs): Titled after the third flag-off-suicide I've personally seen. Who knows how many I've missed.
Fri Mar 16 13:18:06 2007 by 'Twist' at level 51 (229 hrs): +1 Twist magic guy cool point for using the staff of wonders to sanc up your shawtabies. Who uses the staff of wonders for sanc?

RoleChapter 2 A dark Scholar and her progression to dark dreams Added Fri Feb 16 12:43:27 2007 at level 4:What does it mean to be free?
It was a question asked among the young scholars seeking to further their knowledge and wits within the Academy of higher studys. No sooner was the question asked that you would find the teachers would answer it rather simply. 'Freedom', as they stated, 'is the capability to do as you wish when you wish.. and how you wish.' Simple enough? But the lecture would always procede further. 'In whole, we all will, however, limit to this term of freedom by giving ourselves to the possibility to become more.' Ciurehra would often ask the teacher outside of the lecture halls what she truly meant by everyone giving up a portion of freedom, and why.
'As a society, to further our studies and grow to our potential.. we must limit our freedom. For freedom, do you not agree, is to be able to submit to whatever desires you have when you please? The very fact that we give into the ideas of others to unite as one is a very heavy burden on our ability to actually remain free.'
Ciurehra would ponder this. She would spend hours among the librarys outside class reading through scholarly journals of creation, magics, and faiths.
After closely analyzing the concept of freedom further she continued to question why she shouldnt pursue her own desires.
'You can pursue you're desires, however, within the guidance of the law and morality of the village or sector in which you make your stay and progress. Remember in society we must restrain ourselves for the better. Desire becomes second if in pursuit to grow. We are not untrained beasts. We are sophisticated scholars. And to remain so we must filter our base, desires if you would, to fit. To shatter all that is to become a beast of the primitive state. A worthless dog purusing an absolute that is beyond anything I could imagine wanting to do. The thought disgusts me.'
Ciurehra would continue to ponder. For now she felt as though the weight and pressures of society were more a burden. As she studied she felt as though she was an animal locked in a cage. Her future was merely set my her society. A sheep lead to a fate unescapable unless she were to break down the walls that had been so adamantitly built to contain her. She would sleep and think endlessly of the the life she could live free from any restraints.. free from any ideas that had been projected at her. Her dreams grew dark. And she often would lay in her bed smiling. For in these dark dreams she escaped momentarily. And those moments made her feel free.
