|
Dahltu Galvrex the Champion of the Virtues, Priest of the Jaguar
DescriptionDark green hair, akin to the color of seaweed, tops this massive figures head and hangs nearly to his waist in a neatly tied tail. Standing tall for even his race, this giant stands at over fourteen feet in height and his covered with well-defined and swollen muscle. His deep blue skin seems to ripple like the waves of an ocean with every movement that he makes. His green brows cast faint shadows over his compassionate light-blue eyes which are divided by a large nose and his cheeks are high-set, along with his squared jaw, giving his face a chiseled appearance. His overall visage would appear, while perhaps attractive to his kind, monstrous to most others if it wasnt for the glimmer of kindness in his eyes.

Fri Feb 9 20:42:45 2007 by 'Daevryn' at level 51 (102 hrs): Summary of latest role entry: "I'm cool. Here's some stuff I want Baerinika to give me." You keep reaching for that rainbow, buddy!
Sun Feb 18 13:36:02 2007 by 'Baerinika' at level 51 (118 hrs): Came by to thank me for my gifts. I took the opportunity to explain to him why I picked Hrudgir over him for Captain, he seemed to appreciate it. On track for Maran and a second virtue, I like his calm storm giant rp

RoleChapter 3 Background Added Mon Jan 22 23:47:21 2007 at level 1:Dahltu was raised by two loving parents in a typical community of giants, under the waves of the Aryth. Since being young he was always taught to be honest, respectful, responsible and to aide those in need. Through his whole life, he held these tenants close to his heart. Always being large, even for his kind, Dahltu would often stand up for the other young giants (especially;role + those considered small or shy) when they were being teased. He always hated to see someone in need not be aided so whenever possible he would try his hardest to do what he could.
As he grew he found that he was stronger and caught onto his studies faster then most others and while he acknowledged this and took pride in it, he never thought himself better of a person and always tried to use his advantages for the good of his community. He wasnt the only one to noticed that he was different, an elder named Jofgertal -from the Paladins guild also took notice and spoke with his parents of squiring him. Teary-eyed, they sent him away to live with Jofgertal and to learn. Dahltu stayed with him for many years, learning what he could in all things and taking to combat very quickly and with a passion. From humble tasks of cooking dinner to sparring and aiding those in need.
One day a young giant ventured too far out of the waves, out of curiosity, and was beset by a pair of humans fishing. They bullied the young giant after they coaxed him aboard their boat, pulling at his worthless trinkets and asking for *treasures of the deep*. Dahltu was out that day for training, meditation and practice with his blade alone. He heard the cries for help and rushed to the boat to see the young giant upon the deck of the boat being kicked. Quickly, he boarded the boat and demanded that they stop. When they refused and continued to kick the boy he lifted his sword and charged after them. One man raised a pair of maces and the other quickly began chanting some arcane words. He was in a brief melee with the mace-wielding man before feeling a pillar of fire strike him from above, sizzling he fell to the deck. The young giant gazed at Dahltus dying form a brief moment and nodded in thanks before jumping overboard and being free. Dahltu burned to death that day, but did so in peace knowing he had saved a boy from the fate that he now endured and realized that he must do what he can to cleanse the lands of the wicked.
Once he regained his flesh he returned to his sire to tell him of what occurred and after a few long moments, he simply nodded and retired to his cot without a word. Dahltu did the same, afraid that perhaps he did something wrong. But, if it was so wrong...why did it feel so right? The next day when he awoke, Jofgertal told him that it was time that he go out and make a difference in the world. Too long have people hurt one another and prayed on the weak. He told him that even he learned something from the young squire that day, gave him a pack with some bread and a water skin, and with a tear in his eye sent him on his way.
