Chapter 6

Nilian slowly raises his head from the battle plans as Nilian's father
explains the importance of this critical strike of the orc camp that is setup
just outside the edge of the woods that Nillian and his kin call home. His
father tells the band of elves that these orcs are strong and cunning and not
to take them lightly, he states that they will be expecting us, so silence is
of the utmost importance. So in the dead of the night we will strike.
Slipping through the trees like a gentle breeze the band of elf's make it to
the edge of there lands and in the distance they can see the camp, a few
guards stand watch as the rest of the group sleeps. The snapping of two bows
are heard as two arrows whistle in the night and find there targets with
deadly accuracy, dead are the two orcs that stood watch.

Chapter 5

With the two orc's out of the way Nilian's father gives the signal to
proceed. Creeping without a single twig breaking the elves make it to the
two dead guards and an eerie feeling comes to Nilian's father, he slowly
whispers, "something is not right". Within a blink of an eye war-crys are
yelled as the orc camp charges the band of elves, taken back with surprise
the band falls back to regroup, a savage battle takes place, like a huge wave
crashing into the coast. Blades swing, armor crashes and clanks. With in an
hour the orc camp is eradicated. Looking for his father Nilian spots him
resting beside a tree, two arrows pierced through is chest. As Nilian
approaches his father he knows that his fathers death is near. Slowly
grapping his hand Nilian tells his father that the orcs are dead, his father
slowly nods as he chokes up blood. Gathering the strength to speak he tells
Nilian to continue to fight for the light, to never stray from the righteous
path, to uphold all he has taught him, to serve and protect all whom seek it
and to rid of all that carry with them a dark heart, the ones that bare the
sign of the taint.

Chapter 4

Nilian took after his father in every way, from what he did to what he would
wear in battle.'His father was a paladin in the small village where they
lived. Nilian also studied the duties and code of the paladin and like his
father he followed it to a tee.'He was born Nilian Tel'Runna and at birth;role + his mother passed away from complications, so it was up to his father to;role + raise him. With his father's death Nilian is set in his righteous crusade to
cleanse Thera of vile beings. He has also set out to join a band of men and
women, whom seek to do the same

Chapter 3

Nilian walked for what seemed a lifetime, as he took his last step, he feel
to his knees. In awe of what he sees before him, Nilian slowly rubs his
eyes. The temple of the phoenix is what he set out for and now he is here,
Nillian does a slow full turn taking in all that is around him he slowly
approaches the captain and take a knee beside him, after talking for sometime
Nilian see's his next step that he must take in his long journy. He must
seek out the Skyborn for his blessings, he has to also speak with the ones of
the maran for Nilian feels his heart burn with passion and pride when told
the many stories.

Chapter 2

Nilian's blade stuck swift and true as it found its mark in the chest of an
orc Nilian whithdrew the blade cleaning of f the blood before sheathing it.
looked about the outpost that he defended, as he looked about he seen all
the destruction and blood that was before him. Nilian slowly closed his eye
and fell to the ground, he looked up at the stars can cried out for his lord,
Nilian felt empty, like all of what he was, was drained. He made his way to
Shoki's shrine, he climbed and climbed, trudged through the deep snow.
Finally in the distance it can be seen, he reaches the altar and prays to his
lord to come, but nothing, has his lord forgotten about Nilian.'He prayed a
few more time all with the same response, nothing. He stood up and slowly
made his way down the mountain.'At an all time low, a voice can be heard,
the voice of his lord. Nilian was filled with the wrath of his lord and a
newfound power to aid him in his cause.'With his faith restored, Nilian will
approach those of the fortress to see about joining the ranks of the squires.

Chapter 1

Climbing once again to the highest peeks so he can be closest to his lord,
Nillian called out his name SHOKAI!! my lord I seek your guidance...nothing.
In his wait he had a long talk with the captain the captain told him of the
mark of Shokai and the past talon's, an honor Nilian would love a chance to
get. He has lived his life for the fortress doing all in his power to fight
and defend all of the light and those whom seek it. He walks alone and show
much honor in battle, he lives and dies by the sword.
