Chapter 4

Yuvralin was raised a fairly average svirfneblin life. Losing
his father to the mines at an early age, he was left to
financially support his family.

Despising the mines that took his father from him, he found
a different career that perked his interest. Yuvralin
enlisted himself into the armed guard. The training was hard
and the hours were long, but Yuvralin endured. He climbed
the ranks quickly, his dedication and perseverance was
clear from the beginning. He was beyond a doubt the strongest
fighter among the guard, all challenges for position were
discarded in defeat with seemingly no effort. It was not
long before he recieved the title of 'Commander', the
youngest in history to this day.

As time went on, so did Yuvralin's reputation. He was known
as such a fierce, indestructable force that the svirf people
said he was cleft from diamond itself..hence his name DiamondCleft.
His reputation was not the only thing that grew, his ego had
been so thoroughly stroked that Yuvralin began to think himself
as indestructable as the Gods themself.

..It was one fateful night that would change his life forever..

As he sat drinking with a few other off-duty guards in their
feasting quarters, a cloaked man approached them. He would give
no response to the guards when asked what he was doing around
their barracks, only silence and stillness. One of the drunken
guards gave a yell and reached towards him to rid him of his
cowl. With a wave of his hand, the cloaked man utterly destroyed
him in a fiery mass. The other two guards were dealt with in a
similar manner. The man then threw a piece of parchment on the
table before him, it read: "Yuvralin DiamondCleft". Yuvralin stood
up calmly, his arrogance still overwhelming his every action, even
after such a display. It was clear it was him he was after, and
having never turning down a fight before, he felt obliged to give
it to him.. Afterall, in his mind he belonged in Asgaard, and he
knew full well the Gods would not cower from such a situation.

Thinking he was going to cease another easy victory, Yuvralin lept
at the man, finding he was swinging his axes at thin air. Suddenly,
he found he could no longer keep a firm grip on his axes, dropping
them to the ground. Turning to face the man, Yuvralin charged at him
with his fists, sending both of them sprawling on the hard earth and
knocking the cowl from the man's face. A non-familiar drow face was
revealed, no lighter than with the cowl itself. A yellow, toothy grin
developed. Just as Yuvralin had thought the fight was in his favor,
the drow placed a palm on Yuvralin's stoney face, his skin became
brittle, then all at once..it exploded, sending fragments of Yuvralin's
stony face all over the ground. Reeling back for a moment, then overcome
with adrenaline and panic, Yuvralin grabbed a large chunk of rock from
the ground next to him(likely a chunk of his very own face) and began
brutally beating the drow's head into a pulp, his blood feeding the very
earth that destroyed him.

After seeing his disfigured face, he could no longer face his people..
It was not only his face that was damaged, but his very pride. Never
before had he been severely wounded in battle, he could not let anyone
see this.. He left to the surface, never to be seen by

Chapter 3

Yuvralin gave praise to his Lord Ordasen most of his life. If it
were not for Ordasen's teachings, Yuvralin would live his life
from under a tightly drawn cowl. His teachings showed Yuvralin
the strength to bare his mutilated face in the light.. To wear
his scars with pride, a mark of the hunt.

Having since been forsaken by said Lord.. He drifts through life,
staying true to himself and his path.

Although he does not in any way wish to stray from the path of
complete magic eradication, he longs for some kind of mentor
to add a deeper purpose to his life.

Chapter 2

Ever since his face was mangled by a simple incantation, the
illusion of his Immortality was ripped from him. By this, Yuvralin
had been quite changed. Not only did it stir such a hatred within
him, but it also took a large part of who he was. He had let his
people down. To them, he is Yuvralin, the one Cleft from Diamond,
a proud and relentless guardian of his people.. An Immortal amongst
men, taken into the hands of the Gods after the defeat of the most
terrible assassin the middle-grounds had ever seen.

After spending years in the Village of the BattleRagers, he has
learned much that there is to know of all the Legends of the
Village past. Their ancient names embrace a life everlasting,
both on the Great Pillar and every mortal tongue. To Yuvralin,
they mean more to him than mere inspiration.. To him they offer
the Immortality he so desperately hungers for. If he could cement
his name into history, he would not feel he is letting his
people(or himself) down..in turn, restoring the missing piece within
himself, making him feel whole once more.

After taking Command of the most powerful, fearful Warriors of Thera..
Yuvralin finally sees all this as a possibility.

Chapter 1

After recieving the mark from the Lord of Legends himself,(thus
branding him a Theran legend) Yuvralin feels whole again at
last. He wears his mark with pride, and rightfuly so.. It is quite
a rare brand.
