Athellnon the Grand Master of Artistry
DescriptionSlender and chiseled, the male wood-elf before you is clad in a pair of light brown breeches with soft, supple leather boots and a dull gray, hooded cloak. A shirt of faint green adorns his upper torso and he carries a thick deerskin rucksack over his shoulders. A pair of large scroll cases hang from either side of the rucksack, and a thick heartstone buckle adorns his worn leather belt. A soft brown sack hangs easily from his hip. It is obvious this wood-elf is a well travelled one just by the ease with which he moves. Fine boned facial features and a sharp point to his ears give him a roguish, dashing look, even by the fair standards of his people. Light green eyes with silver flecks flank his thin nose and seem to dance with though when open. A thin band of silver leaves intertwined upon a branch adorns the ring finger of his right hand. Closer inspection reveals that..

RoleChapter 1 Synopsis Added Tue Oct 24 17:51:43 2006 at level 50:Many things define Athellnon Silverleaf, complexity of character, ease in interacting with others, competancy in both bardcraft and combat. He is truly the jack of all trades most bards are known for. Beneath the typical wood-elven demeanor however, lies a thirst for knowledge that rivals an anti-paladin's thirst for souls. He can move from an easy-going drinker to a driven explorer of parts best left unknown.
A simple need to know the answer to most all questions regarding history and lore is the driving force behind almost all of his adventures. Born to normal parents, he was the child who stayed at home, reading every book in the familial library while his friends were out frolicking in the forests. The only thing to tear him away from his love of knowledge has been his love for his betrothed, Aelinnaria. Having grown up with her, his devotion to her is unquestionable, and frequently he finds himself having to end joyous adventures to arrive promptly at his arranged meetings with her. Planning their wedding has been rough. Born to a wealthy family, her parents do not approve of Athellnon in the way either had hoped.
Around the middle of his adventuring days, Athellnon found the need to share his knowledge growing. He sought a repository of sorts for such knowledge, that others who sought it might one day have access to said information. His studies determined only the Celestial Lyceum fit this bill. As he learned more, he felt the calling of the Heralds, and sought to add his talents to their ranks. Thankfully the wise and beautiful fela Iunna had returned from a slumber of sorts to lead the Heralds as she had as a mortal. Her questions for Athellnon left him with lingering questions of his own, but soon he was accepted into the ranks of Herald. The only sadness he has found due to this is when the High Herald Eacer collapsed and died in front of his very eyes, a mere moment before Athellnon warned him not to wield the axe, Rancor, the Black Blade of Yzekon. Yet another example of how knowledge could have prevented sadness, he recalled, but his service to Herald remains and he hopes one day to add many works to the Lyceum so that others can find the enlightenment he has.
His future days should include lots of exploring, some drinking, and countless stories told in front of the fire with a captive audience to partake of such enjoyment. In addition, Athellnon hopes that when his marriage is complete, his future father in law will allow him to peruse their personal library, a place said to hold knowledge left secret for ages.
