Chapter 1

To watch him wither as I slid my sword into his flesh, I can not describe
this in mere words for there are none truly complex enough in this language
to make one understand. To watch a creature so brutally proficient in
slaughter wilt, to watch it age the entirety of its life in a drastic moment
infront of me, to know I held the power over it was something that I have not
felt since the silent execution of my second sister. Watching her lifeblood
drain from the precise cut was nothing like this though, watching this
creatures soul drain, to feel it writhe up my limb and dance along the skin
of my body only to penetrate deeper into my being, deeper into my very
essence. Oh my, I suppose I truly have the words, though they are not nearly
as explicit as my own tongue, but I regress. To feel this, I realized that I
had made the proper choice for a field of study in this man run surface
world, I realized the extent with which one could grow in control by merely
feeding on their lessers. To take from those that are weak and poor, and to
encircle myself with their souls and jeweles, their gold and silver. For why
does someone of such peasantly upbringing have any right to things that I
want and deserve. And I shall take their fear, I shall draw it out and mold
it as I see fit, twisting and kneeding it as I desire. This I know now.

Chapter 2

My dreams, intensity has never had such delightful prey to nibble and bite.
The terror I could not describe to you with a million words, let us only say
that it was marvelously unimaginable. I do not know why it pleased me, why it
made me feel alive. But it did. Ravens picking at my eyes, wolves eating my
flesh, so real, so vivid. These things enchanted my horrid imaginations to no
end. All of this happened after I felt the teeth pierce and slide smoothly
through my skin as if it were a veil of smoke. After the dark angel had her
fill and I fell into the weakened sleep of a babe. Needless to say after such
an intensely draining feast for the champion of my desires, those
tremendously terrible nightmares were a refreshing respite. Odd how Weakness
and terror flow the river together with invigirating insights into the
unconcious fear of man. Men are weak, I shall have my fill of them.

Chapter 3

She wished me dead, so vivid was my almost placid understanding of this. My
Matron wished her most deadly daughter dead. It was simple really, compared
to other societies such a warped web would only appear to be insanity, in the
drow culture though it was stale. That is why I acted as I did. You see,
whoever you are, to let such an entirely rudimentary conspiracy unfold would
have been like sticking a dagger in mine own gullet for the sake of honour,
such a laughable action. She wished me dead because such a simple subset of
almost rules pushed her to wish such. To think that the matron scoffed that
her most deadly of daughters was apropo for strengthening our house only as
long as it took to strengthen. To think that she considered my tasteful lack
of blind worship to the spider queen to be a weakness. To think that she
wished her second eldest daughter, Uvhliane by name, to take my place. The
ogre could not even properly juggle. To think that my matron judged the
strength of Uvhliane's arm and faith as comparable.. no, as superior to every
trait I hold mastery over, Pathetic. And so I delved into my studies. You
might be suprised, whomever you may be, at how easily it is to change the
magical eminitions of a body to feel as though it is your own. What I mean by
this is, you who already likely knows this. To take a small slice, a hair, of
my essence and let it spread till it surrounds the body of a simple commoner,
to cloak, to trick. So any divination to find me, if it was powerful enough
to stretch realm wide.. -for you see the matron mother of the first house
would not believe she needed to stretch her divination to find the body of
one in this city of my birth- would find the simple commoner and register as
I. Thus showing my murder, a murder made to keep me quiet. Another simple
task to let the first Matron believe that my house wishes to take its place,
for you see unknown entity, all houses wish the first seat... a simple thing
to trick the lie spells for it is simple truth. To show fear was mere acting,
and to disappear and speak once to my youngest brother, whom for some reason
has always idealized my talents. To speak to him in 'worry' and let out just
enough that he may let slip a simple word or two to his class mate, Thalruli
by name, whom happens to be the youngest child of the first house. Simple you
see, so simple to leave the essense on the body. So simple to procure the
har'ol tizzin, the cave lizard o omniscient one, to let it rush me to the
surface before that pathetic common's body began to cool, to be miles upon
miles away from the first matron's delving. Simple but yet inspiringly
complex, the truly beautiful thing though, which you must understand.. you of
such power that can read the minds of others. The truly inspiring centerpiece
of this delightful web, is that my mother and the first matron were born to
the same matron, sisters. Sisters that once as I have learned, trusted
eachother fully. That is how they both came to power of the first and second
houses, don't you see? They acting in accord with eachother for so long and
now, the 'heartfelt' words of my mothers eldest daughter will end her.
Heartfelt words and an old rudimentary divinationary masking, will end her by

Chapter 4

Oh my, who oh who might this be that would delve deeply into my thoughts.
Well, my dear, I do not know you and you intend to know me so this in quite
the little predicament I have found myself in. Perhaps you can only sense my
thoughts, or perhaps you can sense my past thoughts. Either way I shall guide
the direct line of thinking so that what you see of me is only what I wish
for you to see, though that likely will not work for your power seems
immense. How can I tell you are digging at my mind you may ask? Why, my
dear.. I am drow. The most feared, beautiful, precise, cunning, deceitful,
deadly, intelligent, manipulative.. my oh my but this simplistic little list
could go on and on.. couldn't it. Let us just say that somehow, someway, I
have sensed something not natural and my intuition has led me down these
lines of thought, though this all could be for naught and I could merely be
imagining things.

You wish to know of me, for why else would this delving have taken place. You
wish to know of my past, a past awash with what most would consider tragedy
and horror, what I.. a drow, consider to be entertainment to keep my mind
sufficiently brimming with delicacies of various kinds that most would not
understand. Are you the type to understand this or will you merely pluck my
soul from this so very mortal coil for these truths you find to be
blasphemous to the point of bestial loathing. I do not know, nor care, I am
entirely what I am and none death will not change such.
