Chapter 9

Having been born of meager means I was forced into a life of foul deeds.
Of all the vagrants children i was too tall to be a shadow-walker, and too poor to learn the arcane.
And so I was destined to be a soldier, whether that meant in the kings legions or otherwise.
Yet as fate would have it I was sold at a hatchlings age to a warlord bent on the idea that he would one day rule the skies.
I was trained in the use of the spear and of the hand.
I dabbled with the arts of swords and daggers yet my limbs could not manuever as quickly as my shorter more deft counter parts
And so coming of age I was bloodlet into the Warlords Army.
My arms were cut and my hands and spears bathed in blood to show my loyalty to fight to the death.
Soon the drums of war beat and we marched upon our Warlords enemies..

Chapter 8

As the drums beat and we flew to war my heart began beating as if it were to rip out of my chest.
The long wait was over, and how my enemies would find death upon my hands.
Our enemy met us upon the skies, and yet they were not blessed like us.
They were walkers, arcane walkers who had stolen the mysteries of flight from another.
Our armies clashed and blood was spilt
I slayed several of the arcane before my wings were shot through with bolts of magic.
I fell from the sky my wings broken and shattered.
As I fell furthur from the sky an arcane caught me and rested me on the ground.
As I slipped from consciousness I saw his face.

Soon I was awoken to the screams of agony.
My limbs were chained to a table and my wings were harnessed to the table with bolts.
Soon I realized that the arcane had not saved me, but was planning to torture me.
As I peered about me many of my comrades were having their bodies wracked with arcane energy.
Some were warped into creatures, others limbs were severed and were being kept for furthur study.
As I struggled and writhed in my chains a figure hovered over me.
Uttering strange words a bolt of energy drove itself into my eye ripping it from the socket.
I screamed with agony and rage as the blood crept from the empty socket.
Soon another figure hovered over me and I lost conscioussness as he uttered words of blasphemy.

Chapter 7

As I awoke the acrid smell of charred flesh and blood surrounded me.
My eye had ceased bleeding and the wounds had now crusted over.
As I gazed around with lone eye the scenery had changed.
Bodies were strewn around the room and over the tables.
Axes, spears, swords and daggers lay embedded in the corpses.
It seemed a raiding party had come and slain all the arcane, but this was not the work of my Warlords army.
There were corpses of all kinds of creatures strewn about, someone had come to destroy the arcane.
I had to find them, for they alone could help me avenge my plight.

Chapter 6

I continued my quest in search of those who had rescued me.
For long I spoke with many, yet none could confirm they had performed it.
Until I spoke with Kaisse Tait, The Commander of Battle.
Kaisse spoke of raiding parties that very well could belong to those that freed me.
I spoke with Grahnik, Grezarn, Darus among others.
It was the dwarf Curdan that spoke of my recommendation.
From there I ventured the lands and grew, and eventually I became of the Village.

As I slept in a cave summoned there by Lyandra, a vision came to me.
Pillars and hisses.
A word became burned into my mind.
Za`Shen`Ra
Za`Shen`Ra
It is here I believe my quest will go, and find this mystery.

Chapter 5

I hate it, despise it it spews forth from all. Seemingly the growing weakness cannot be stopped.
As I travelled and ventured I thought that only those of the guilds should be destroyed. Yet as it stands the weakness infects the minds of all. The Fortress rely on it to vanquish their enemies. The Outlanders thrive from it. They all defend
Perhaps now it is time to make a stand, it shall not be tolerated. I shall discuss this pathetic use of the arcane with the Commander though somehow I find him weak in nature. He has cunning in many ways, but he also has little concept of hono
While Kaisse is a fair fighter Kragathian permeates of weakness. He has forced me to never rely upon him to lead a charge, nor to formulate a battle plan. May the rights come soon and may the worthy rise up from amongst the huts.

Chapter 4

Kragathian, Veteran of Battle has shown me the hallowed ground of ages past.
As I was there I saw ghosts of our Ancestors fighting the great War even in their death.
It is here that I see the War is never ending, that the lost souls of the Village remain.
It is here solace for the long dead cannot be found, but it is a fate honorable for their dedication in life translated to death.
The Din of a ghostly battle and the screams of War seem almost a comfort for an Elder such as I.
As my feathers turn from black to grey and my years grow short I wish to be buried here.
Amongst the weeds and the ghosts.
Death is but one stage in life, such is known now.

Chapter 3

The Rites have come and gone and I have neglected to reflect on them at great length.
It was there in the Rites where I fought against brother and sisters mostly, and sadly to the death.
I bested Yul several times and then later was defeated by Gorrnar and Friarr.
After such in the giant melee I was the lone survivor.
The Lords took Ysaloerye to lead the Village and I was to be the Drillmaster.
Much has occured since then.

Already I have battled Friarr and Guamel within the Circle in bids for
respect and their general disrespect of the Plaque.
This War is long and to show any weakness will only revel in the rise of the arcane.
May my spear nad fists be bathed in the blood of all those who oppose our War and our Village.

Chapter 2

And so it begins, my own personal Inquisition.
Inspired by Redik and his doings I have brought about my own War.
At no time shall any arcane be given any quarter anywhere.
With such we will slay the Maran, the Huntress, the Captain all in the name of our War.
If they declare it will be their own doing, and the Village will teach them
The true fury of our War.

Little understand the true meaning of declaring War.
If we give them no other option than to do it upon us they in turn will be the war mongers.
The ones who take their fight beyond their means.
The Village will be seen as supreme, logical, correct.
The Village will rise above the ashes as the Phoenix, as Redik.
I am Lerimos, Commander of Battle leader of the Second Inquisition.

Chapter 1

Much blood has been spilt. I have seen my Villagers grow and die, the beauty
and horrors of this War. I have also seen the failure of myself as Commander
of this Village. Through my stead Cabdru a dark-knight of immense power
rose, a necromancer has become a Lich, Lord Ordasen has gone and the
Destructor's weapons have been destroyed. It seems hte fates have dealt me a
time in which I could not rise and merely bend to the whims of failure.

Many say it is in these difficult times that true leaders are forged that the
strong shall rise from the ashes like a phoenix. It seems I am no phoenix.
