As you know, they're the traditional residents of Ysigrath. The new playable Saurians are fringe villagers from their original swamps who have settled anew. As a result, they may be a little less strict than their Ysigrath counterparts.
What sort of personalities will the newest generation of saurians have? What sort of diverse backgrounds do they come from? Will they bring back the strict views of their forefathers, or will they set out into Thera with newer ideologies?
I really look forward to seeing what you all manage to do with them, and I hope you enjoy them as much as we enjoyed getting them operable.
**Thanks** Huge thanks to Umiron for everything, and thanks to both Ergush and Azorinne for testing things out, and to every immortal who helped review any writing at all points in the process.

Saurians will find a number of masks now fit on their face.
After a review of existing pieces of face-gear, a number have been adjusted to fit on Saurian faces. Coincidentally, if those same pieces *did not* fit an arial, they will now.
So feathered friends, be happy your scaly fellows caused it to happen!

As part of the above new racial addition, a number of items have been slightly changed.
Felar and Saurians will find that experimenting with items on their hands may be worth it - as a an increased number of existing gloves, gauntlets, and all-things-hand-related have been set to fit on either forepaws or foreclaws.
So just because an item says it's for hands... or paws... or foreclaws... Doesn't necessarily mean it won't fit on the others. Experiment and you may be surprised to find some items that never previously fit on felar now do!

The concept seems both well thought out and implemented. Little miffed they can't be druids, but their background story does a good job explaining the why behind that choice.
P.S.: Don't forget to add them to the "size" helpfile. Seems they're in the same category as felar, elves, humans, etc.
