I have to agree with Aidan here. I personally, thought the old forum setup was excellent. Clear concise threads, alerts to newly posted material, all except for this last crash, it was an well structured forum. If at all possible, I would vote to go back to the old structure. However, thats just my opinion, I could be wrong.

The new forum has better backups (in that it even has a backup system), plus additional features that make it more friendly from an administrator point of view. Well, except that whole queued messages bit. We've been tweaking the display of the new forum to make it closer to the old one. I'd like to also point out that you can change some of the settings yourself in your user preferences.
