was anything checked on sleeping a conjures familiar and it still being able to "awaken" owner?

Yes. The bug is that you can sleep the familiar at all.

In the future, please don't post multiple posts for the same bug. There's a backlog of well over a hundred posts as it is, and I had to bust my ass to get it down that low.
