Mob is tracking someone who isn't me.
The sky is getting cloudy. The Patrolman Captain has arrived. You step out from your cover. Your surprise attack does UNSPEAKABLE things to the Patrolman Captain! The Patrolman Captain checks the ground for tracks. The Patrolman Captain leaves south. The Patrolman Captain is covered with bleeding wounds.
And the fight is broken, after all he just left.

This is due to combat never really being started from the Captain's point of view. So long, and thanks for all the fish!

Person A attacks a mob and flees two rooms away. Person B sits one room away along the path with a waylay command in. Person A moves in a circle or camo/creeps back two rooms. Person B can stand still and set up a new waylay, and repeat this until the mob is dead with no danger to either character besides the initial 1 round attack from person A.
It wasn't clear from your response if you were fixing this or not.
