#8796, "Compact mode"
|
Not sure if this a bug per se, but when you have COMPACT mode on and press return (e.g. checking for new hour while sleeping), the mud doesn't display a carriage return at all. This makes it hard to notice any changes in the new prompt as it appears on the same line as the previous one:
<prompt><prompt><prompt>
If COMPACT is off pressing enter puts the prompt neatly on a new line:
<prompt> <prompt> <prompt>
Any chance of changing compact mode to work like this too?

It started working like this shortly after I posted that (without any change in my client), seemed to me like someone fixed it but just forgot to unqueue the post.

Works just fine for me via wintin. What client (if any) are you using?
So long, and thanks for all the fish!
