'open' and 'close' look correct to me-- the problem in the above log with 'open rock' is that he had a 'rock' in his inventory, as you can see from the 'look rock' output.

I'm not sure why looking at the door's keywords doesn't produce a result however. You can always look in a direction to get the same output, but I'll look into the rest.
