Most weather echoes are associated with weather that you can feel, so you can sense them while blind. If it is during the day, you might consider that you would still feel the drop in temperature if the sky became cloudy. And yes, there's really no way you would know the sky was getting cloudy if it was night and you were blind. But it's just not worth the time to prevent such a rare oddity. Maybe you have ESP.
