redirecting against someone with zero lag is not that rare scenario now that it is known. I thought about it when I realised someone could try and bash me when I had protective without lag.

Right now a o all rescue druid is kinda worthless against a warrior unless he is blind.

Same with raids..

This scenario would probably only matter for two or three characters in the game. There's a perk they're using, and it's a designed part of that perk.

Anyone else would thud into the thorns and take damage, for starters.
