As a drow, I sneak automatically. As an assassin, I have the sneak skill, which my drowness sets at 100%. Normally, I just sneak, without any sneaking listed on my affect list. When I type sneak, though, sneak is added to my affect list, with the same duration as assassin sneak, but isn't removed in combat just like drow sneak isn't. When that sneak runs out, I stop sneaking. Unless I type sneak again, I walk around like a non-sneaky human for an hour. On the next tick, drow autosneak sneaks in again. Is this by design? Are there advantages to sneak that autosneak doesn't have, so that sneaking with the sneak skill makes you sneakier? Or is it a sneak bug?

Sneak sneak sneak sneak sneak. Sneak.

Sneak.

Which is what you're supposed to do.

Yes, this is by design. Why type sneak, when you already do autosneak?

No...there are advantages to autosneak that sneak doesn't have, namely, you don't have to ever type sneak.

So long, and thanks for all the fish!
