Is it possible that the Special Guards' initial attack, when they jump a criminal, goes through protections? Vonyx said he had 4 shields, aura, and stoneskin, and when the guards struck it resulted in the following log. Notice how the guards' intial attack (when they jump the WANTED Vonyx) does much more significant damage than the following attacks (which are preceded by an attack noun).
