I previously posted here about none of my spells going up in about four or five days or so.. It's been about six or seven now, and still having the same "Bad streak of luck" as An Immortal put it. But last evening when I was in Thar-Acacia with a group, fighting a certain couple mobs, nova went up (or tried, he was immune) about 5 times or so, and my affinity in fire is only 4. Yet I've been using cone of cold for about a week now: outdoors, indoors, different areas, while fighting, while not fighting, I even tried ranking a couple times, Nothing seems to be working here. I believe there's got to be some sort of bug or something. There's no way with 6 affinity and 23 int, that I'd wouldnt have gotten one improvement in a weeks worth of spamming. I think you guys tried to help me out or fix something last night, but I seriously think something is wrong.

Two of my shields each went up once from 71 to 72 last night as well in Thar-Acacia, but as soon as I left, so did my improvements. If anyone has any idea, please help me out here. Im desperate.

There are echoes for every thing that will prevent you from improving except one (not having picked your sphere).

Wielding a weapon you don't know...playing with immunities for you and them...etc. There is nothing wrong with the improvement code.
