Affected by mind-control poison and cannot call resistance, truesight, and spellbane. I can't use class skills either. However, I can apply field dressings. I didn't get a change to try poultices. Is field dressing (and poultices?) slipping through the cracks? I'm not complaining though.

By design...and it's not that you can't use them...it's that there is a chance you can't use them.
