#4295, "Forgecraft, affected but not affected?"

Pre-forge ident.

==1056/1056hp 829/873m 720/722mv== <new/8 PM/civilized/indoor> com ident axe
You furrow your brow as you look through your possessions.
----------------------------------------
This object, a Half-Moon Shaped Axe can be referred to as 'axe half-moon black steel'.
It is worth 3125 copper, and is of the 42nd level of power.
It is made of steel and weighs 24 pounds 15 ounces.
It can cause 8d5 points of damage, at average 24.
When worn, it affects your damage roll by 5 points, your armor class by 20 points and
your strength by 2 points.

*then, this is the message I get from the forging.*

You pull a Half-Moon Shaped Axe from the water and examine it closely.
You notice a Half-Moon Shaped Axe will land more powerful blows.
You notice a Half-Moon Shaped Axe will strike more accurate blows.

*last time it gave me both of these messages, both +hit, and +dam got boosted*

Ident after forging.

It is made of steel and weighs 24 pounds 15 ounces.
It emanates a hum-like sound.
It can cause 8d5 points of damage, at average 24.
When worn, it affects your hit roll by 2 points, your strength by 2 points,
your armor class by 20 points and your damage roll by 5 points.

*As you can see, it told me it will land harder blows and more accurately, but it only added to the Hitroll, and the Damroll stayed the same.*
