Apologies if this belongs on game-play. Seemed weird enough to merit a bug board post.

Thief tries to blackjack paladin with counterstrike. Blackjack misses, counterstrike fires. Thief can then immediately attempt another blackjack. Apparently counterstrike prevents the "failed blackjack" affect that normally prevents subsequent attempts from succeeding. End result: thief can attempt blackjack over and over until it eventually succeeds. Unless I'm on crack. By design?

Unless the cs check happens prior to the skill hit/miss check, i.e. a paladin can never be jacked unless cs fails, doesn't this behavior make him easier to jack?

Without cs the thief gets one chance. If that misses he hast to wait. But if a miss is like never having attempted, the thief can just try repeatedly until he gets a non-miss (assuming he can handle the cs damage).

That's all I got. If it's still by design then I'll promptly shut up.

>(assuming he can handle the cs damage).

And therein lies the rub.

So long, and thanks for all the fish!
