It is possible to set your own preferred time zone on the forums. When they were first set up again, I believe they defaulted everyone to Greenwich time. If you want the time zone on the forums to match the time zone of the game system, use USA/Central for your time zone.
Otherwise, people might also find it more convenient to put everything into their own time zone. It's all up to you.

All of the posts in that forum originated in 2001. If you have your settings such that you only see posts from the last 30 days... or the last year... or whatever, you're not going to see any of the posts in that forum. When I get a chance, I'll change that feature to pay attention to the last updated date instead of the original posting date. The new post in the forum is a reply to one of the old topics, which is why you're not seeing it.
