***After normalize, it still says blazing slash bounces harmlessly... not sure if it's just an aesthetics issue or if the damages for AC purposes are still considered blazing or just normal slash also

Yeah, that's just an echo-aesthetic, doesn't change anything and this happens when dam-type changers in general.
