Not sure if it a bug but tamed pet and your bear will not use ai movement shortcuts when you do. They get left behind. Edit as needed as questy info. I can post a log if you wish...

I'm fine with the trade off. You have pets? Avoid the shortcuts, or use the shortcuts and leave your pets.
