Apparently if you lose link which inside a hole created with the invoker dig spell, it can fill in while you're disconnected and leave you trapped.

A pit beneath Lost in the Frigid Wastelands
You are within an earthen pit, ripped from its surrounding terrain as
if by a great claw. The sides climb jagged and uneven from a firmly
packed floor, though they look easy enough to climb with some effort.
An unnatural odor hangs in the air here, for the earth smells far too
fresh, and a tinge of brimstone poisons the air that hangs, moist and
cloying, with a hint of the arcane. Above lies the only apparent way
out.

You sense that teleportation is restricted in this place.
You sense that you cannot return to your hometown directly from here.



Maybe it should just force the player out like it does when I'm online so it isn't a deathtrap?

The way dig works, it looks risky for me to try and do that.

The easier answer is just: Don't go afk in a pit and void out, don't disconnect in a pit.

It doesn't happen too often, so I'm going to nudge this idea to the side for the time being.
