#23321, "Outer cabal guardians getting sanc and healing"
|
Previous post showed healing. Here showing also sanctuary. I could swear neither wasn't supposed to be possible.
The Gates of the Palace You stand between two huge open portcullis, one to the north and one to the south. A ceiling lofts above you, held up by a series of stone arches. The walls to the east and west are covered with black scorch marks and pocked from splattered acid. The stone floor is cracked and broken from countless upheavals and eternally stained with the deep red of dried blood. You can continue further into the Palace to the north, or leave to the south.
A magical spring flows from the ground here. A raft has been left here. (Black Aura) Inaj is here. Wyrimur is here. (Black Aura) The Vanquisher of the Empire defends the Palace to the death!

Presumably healers lost the ability to heal outers because it made it impossible for retrievers to make progress (ie get to gushing, then go back and it has been healed to full health).
But this seems like a big trade off for healers and cabal war enjoyment.
Instead how about make it so outers can be healed AND also sanc'ed/shielded/hasted etc WHEN fighting ONLY. This way the healer can contribute while still allowing progressive wear of the outer guardian.
Retrievers also get the advantage of surprise and hits in before the healer can respond with sanc.
