Automatic Abilities
Deflection : Scaly Hide for Deflecting Blows
Defense : Higher damage reduction against low to mid level opponents
Dam Reduction : Damage Reduction

In the time to get the form to Confident, I don't believe I've seen a single hide deflection.

Just wanted to check in if something was broken with the form.

I became the gar, fought various things, and saw scaly hide working appropriately. AFAIK it works like evade though, and only really applies to actively used skills, not passive hits.
